@@aljous2269 a bred theri can too. Rexes are indeed better, but not by much. And as a solo I'd argue theriz are better, since they can auto heal (albiet not much and only when low). Yes you can bring a pig but they aren't the same since they do a constant heal, and cakes do a "oh crap I'm about to die" heal. Max HP and damage on the dinos is within 10% iirc. The big reason I prefer them is as a pack they are easier to deal with. Rexes pack AI is awful and sometimes you can get them to move because they glitch into one another. Just my 2 cents tho.
@@OuchMySpleen i agree but i still prefer rexes they deal a lot of damage especially if you have mutation on them
Theris and rexes are about the same in terms of damage, but theris have lower health. However, the theri is easier to maneuver and takes less fire damage. If you want one army for everything, most people go rex for the higher health (though I personally don't like rexes), but theirs are probably slightly better for the dragon specifically

11:06 its suggested that you just stand still for the actual teleportation. The issues come from when people are in menus, moving items around, running around, trying to mount or dismount (especially this). Doesn't matter where you stand still, as long as you're not fuckin around at the moment of teleportation
When fighting the alpha I think that having the dragon spin around helped a lot in saving the theris that were getting hit the most.
Also the Beta flew away after lighting up the Theri's, then it landed and fire breathed again. That one extra 20% burn definitely hurt as well

Thank you for reminding about the veggie cakes... I had COMPLETELY forgot about them, and lost my original stego (yes stego) army to the Beta Dragon. I was much more prepared for the Alpha. All but 3 of them survived the battle, and out of 180 total cakes.. only 1 cake was left. Off the battle the Overseer.

I wish sweet veggie cakes werent bugged, would make soloing bosses a lot more doable for solo players without galactic mutation stacking or massively buffing tamed dino stats in the game settings.

Yeah I remember that tuso explosion video! that was terrifying lol.. you wanted to kill them but If I remember correctly there were like 10 alpha tusos around and you retreated wisely.
I've had it where it certain NPCs are a lot quicker to die simply because in that particular fight they couldn't hit as many of my dinos. You got very lucky lol that's what happened good stuff man super entertaining stuff been watching for a while

@@beasthi8837 ive had the alpha dragon flame the whole theri pack when they were up close, when i ran across its sight it followed me and aimed it at me missing them entirely a few times. though i still lost 8 theri's

Syntac, if you make basic kibble for the daeodon, it fills the food faster for it per piece :)
Maybe the reasons the Beta dragon was worse was because in the Alpha fight he didn't fly away or use his breath as much. I think Syntac just had the perfect set of occurances and rng was on his side

When trying to get saddles back in a boss fight using the S+ transfer tool is amazing ^.^
I do recommend that u use magmasaurs against the dragon as they absolutely shred the dragon the pieces

Syntac really should have thought of throwing in some deinonychus for the dragon. With the bleed and some extra mutations on health and melee (no stam cause they aren't ridden) they shred dragon even on alpha.

syn with a soul gun you can just shoot the lootbags of dead dinos to get their stuff - might be usefull for dead dinos you used for bosses
I think the secret here was turning the dragon so nothing got focus fired down faster than they could be healed.

Yesss alpha dragon fight
Dragon targets largest creature. If you keep agro but stay out of range it won’t do fire breath and do way less damage. That’s what happened. Nice job! Deinonychus don’t even get hit because they’re so small.
Can you do some tuso and dunkleosteus mutations at some point please? A x-allo army could be cool as well
Managed the Beta dragon with 19 theriz(lvl 300ish at birth) and 1 yuty of official. They had 77 levels in health and 81 levels in damage and each had about 10 sweet veggie cake and I didnt lose any. Havent tried Alpha yet.
22:05 is why you didnt lose any theriz on alpha lol. he missed everything with 1 fire breath 😂 and then again right at the end.
making dragon miss fire breath helps a tonnnn.. however its hard to do reliably. luck based mostly.
Lol when he drowned that giga that reminded me of when i used the fact that titanosaurs can't attack under water to help my giga which created a scene of my giga almost drowning twice, one level earned for me and a titan hissy fit with stomps

yes, true he can but he also wants to find the trophy and you can't transfer specific objects like trophies sadly. so no point of using advanced multi-tool

I remember when you did the Overseer fight for the first time
Magmasaur is immune to the fire breath and heals insane with ambergris. you can ruin the dragon with one Magma and a couple of deinonychus. Use the magma to tank the breath then get the deinonychus to apply bleed. Takes about 2 minutes to kill it.

If you're interested in trying different go with 1 Deino. 12k hp, rest melee. Just stay at its feet. Aim for a heel if you can. Great AOE handles Ptera's and Dimorphs too.

A really cool update to the giga would be wild gigas fought each other so that you couldn’t have like a bunch of gigas near each other.
And similar to how nameless usually attack survivors, gigas would prioritize other gigas over survivors. So basically if you acciebely aggro a giga, lead it to a giga. And then when it’s over, kill the weaker one. Or if you’re near water, drown it.

I’ve been wondering about this for quite awhile I think you should have some of your own dragons and arduous flight this exact boss but they are very high levels and there’s a lot of dragons and argues that are helping you so please kill this boss with oranges and dragons

The Dragon boss fight is weird because at gamma it has 432k hp at beta it has 864k hp but at alpha it gets a minor increase to 972k hp

@@joryholland8253 I want to say his harvest/xp is 2xs what official is. His breed stats I have never seen or heard him say other than boosted by alot. He mentions some of the gathering in his first few videos of a series (not all but in one of them). He has pvp enabled so they get xp from killing babies from breeding. That's all I have ever noticed on his rates.

Brachi tame episode soon? I find giga wrangling works better if you carry a wild creature, they seem to like wild more than tame bait XD. I would have set the transfer tool to gather the saddles and cake from the death caches. Wonder if you will use this same army to fight the rag or valguero bosses, i cant remember tho if val unlocks the rag tekgrams.

Pro-tip (yes, I realize it's ridiculous to give Syntac pro-tips):
If you can't get to the "drop bags" from your dead theris, use your S+ transfer tool to "basic transfer" the contents from the bag to another theri.
Hey Syntac! Would it be easier to pick up all the theris when looking for the boss drops? An item bag would drop and you could just get it?
Could you have used the S+ transfer tool in the arena to transfer all item caches into your inventory?

Best way to get thousands of eggs?
Reccomended map?
A: caves, desert drops
A: harvest a lot of sheep, use stack mod to preserve it best
A: boosted mating interval rates and hatchery/soul terminal to pick up eggs/babies
A: Syntacs fav is Ragnarok, but whichever map fits your needs/play type is best recommended map
I think the alpha was so easy cause it missed most of its firebreaths because it was spinning around trying to shoot your player character.
Might be a good strategy for the future.
