With the Cryo specifically... I can think of a reason the teeth are so clean. It’s constantly drinking and expelling water. So they’re getting cleaned!
Plus it shoots freezing breath so it could freeze stuff off it's teeth making them sparkly white like snow! Or the torpor spit may be acidic or have certain chemicals in it that'd keep it's teeth clean..these on top of the fact it shoots water and drinks water often so it's constantly cleaning it's teeth :)
The Cryoloph is tamed in the most irritating way possible in ARK. On paper, it’s really cool, and it is, but when you ACTUALLY play and go to tame it. It’s buggy as hell. It usually doesn’t work inside of structures. The best taming pins I’ve used for them are 3 dino gates with doors, and then a pillar instead of a 4th gateway in a box shape, and it you do it right you can shoot and it won’t really make the AI act up. The Oxygen on the dino boosts its Cryo Liquid, and its special ability “Icebreaker” works if you knock out dinos or freeze them. The spit does Torpor, but the freezing breath also does very small amounts of torpor but it’s just so you can freeze dinos to trap them is the best use. My favorite is the color regions they have, because you can make their throat change color for when they’re holding Cryo liquid.
That figurine is sooo cute! I love how happy he is with his raptor-skulled spear! Also a really annoying fact about the Cryo: when you carrying them (wild) and you fly out from the snow region, they just simply refuse to attack you, even if you attack them (happened to me on Rag).

Syn, Ive tested the Cryo dino a lot. This is what Ive found: Ultimate taming creature if you use it right. The spit is a double-projectile, so it hits twice (first hit does around 1000 instant torpor and the second does around 500 more over time), so it *will* ruin taming effectiveness if they are too close to K.O. already when you spit. The bite does torpor over time (like a basilisk), so you need to use magnifying glass or a spyglass mod (or HLNA) to keep track of torpor if you want perfect tames (spit till they are under 1000 torpor left, then bite and wait, bite and wait, till they go down, or use tranq arrows/darts to finish them off instead of bite, if desired, since you can shoot while mounted) Since the spit does so little damage, there is no worry about killing anything when you finish off the last bit of torpor with a crossbow and tranq arrows. Just like an Equus, i go out to tame something with it and i come home with more critters than I intended, cause it is so easy. I wanted to CLAW ME EYES OUT taming them, so I agree, tame one good level female and male and be done with it and breed all the babies you need. Their stats aren't that important if their job is just taming other stuff. They easily guard tames that are down too, since the Cryo-dino gets amped by your KO'ed tame. They lose the cryo juice when balled up, so you may need to fly it to location with an argy to tame big stuff that is away from water or snow. Tames big KO critters like brontos and rexes so easy it almost feels like cheating. Edit: Also, the reverse taming pen was brilliant idea, I'll have to use that next time. They bug out hard even in natural ground taming pens in the snow (fence foundations and doorway walls). I had to do my taming in the open, and I've never died so many times taming anything in Ark, EVER.

Carry it to a safe area, and obtain the magmasaur anti-freeze buff. Shoot it in the mouth with a fab and easily feed it. Use your owl to heal if necessary
For anyone wondering how to unbug the Crylo so it aggros on you, you need to get it out of the pen, preferably with a flier and let it run around for few secs. Like so ppl can see. Quick edit: You also need bigger pen for him to STAY aggro
Tamed one last night, when you put it in a pen it can sometimes be is a constant flee, like syn shows, you can fly away to deload it and then it should be aggroed
If your looking for another cool vanilla worthy creature mod you should try krakens better dinos, it does not add more dinos exept more different tek variants, but its an overhaul for the majority of all the creatures in the game, and i really like it. As an example, hyenadons get a size interval kinda like the coel fish, and if you find one at the max size you are actually able to ride it.
Event colors do cheapen mutations somewhat. But since i've been breeding managarmr for months and somehow haven't gotten a neon green mutation the event colors are certainly a welcome addition.
It kinda anois me in how they are using them though like the concavoraptor and how it can swim in sand and the crylo and how it can breath ice cause they couldn't actually do that
I love your figurer but if you are going to do another one, I would suggest one where you are riding Mystique. I would definitely buy that one for sure ;)

The cryo I tamed did that too! I saw another tutorial on how to tame them where you set your bird up above it to keep its aggro, then you sit on the edge of a little cliff so that it wont aggro to you. When it shoots the ice at the bird, shoot its head, and when it is frozen, you run up to it and feed it, then run back up the cliff and repeat the process until its tamed.
Random tip: The spit hits twice when using the cryolopho, which can ruin a bit of the taming efficiency if you hit a creature that is torpor running and it is at its last piece of their torpidity left, so definitely try to use some tranq ammo at the last minute that your soon-to-be-tamed creature starts to commit unnecessarily annoying flee......
I only have these breeding rates because i make daily videos lol if i wasnt making videos i would have them like this and i would still feel the same about event colours

What was wrong with it was it probably wasted its cryo liquid and once it got out of the pen it recharged its cryo liquid. So it wasn't bugged it just didn't have any snow to use the cryo liquid.
The fact that Syntac forgets everything hits me in the feels... Eventually, I started jotting things down so I wouldn't keep forgetting stuff before I left base.... AND I still leave shit behind. 🤣🤣

The venator thing getting tamed by C4 is dumbly hard. Never successfully done it alone.
