Use to work as a professional model and I can say that it’s the worst nightmare for us to trip r slide a bit, but falling - is a compete disaster, falling three times can really cause both you and your booker huge problems, potentially loosing the contract. Also the models on the back couldn’t really do anything because it’s their job to continue presenting the clothes
He knew that poor girl wasn't done being viciously attacked by that ruffle monster? I love when ppl don't just leave someone in a bad situation, and pretend as if they didn't notice? It's ppl like him that has me looking twice out of disbelief when they do something kind, because so many others are just cold and uncaring.....and there's jerks who defend those cold ppl? If it doesn't hurt to care or help why not? 🤗👏🏽
Often times I think it's the shoes they pick with these dresses. Satin doesn't do well with spiked heels because it can get caught up in them especially if it's built to be a light ruffled look which was definitely the case here too many points to get tangled in.

Yes, it was the dress if you watch the video closer, you can see her high heels keep getting caught at the bottom of the dress. The dress was too puffy. Feel bad for the poor girl, but she did it but she never stop. She just kept going that’s perseverance for you, great job and thanks to the male model for being a gentleman and helping her very nice sweet thoughtful gesture❤💜🙏🏼🙏🏼
The dress is what the dress is. It was her job to pace the walk in a way that didn’t let the dress catch up to her. That way she wouldn’t have fallen. I couldn’t do it so don’t think I’m judging her but that’s what a models job is I guess 😢

More seasoned models would have probably found a way to salvage the moment, or make it part of the show. I believe she was so mortified that all she could do was try to get off the runway and that only caused her to stumble again. Falling on the runway can be career shattering, I feel so bad for her.
Guys models are literally paid to walk in whatever they wear. It’s her job to know how to manoeuvre that dress. Maybe she had to lift it away from her feet and almost pick it up when she walks? My point is, they aren’t just paid to take a walk. They’re paid to walk in the clothes, so yup it’s on her, not the designer
They put on the clothes moments before the shows. It’s not like they have time to practice and get familiar with how each piece walks. And yet, 99% of clothes don’t cause people to trip the first time they walk in them. It’s on the designer, not the model. She did her best with an unexpected problem.

A designer sent us all down the runway in blindfolds once... If it weren't for the flashes from all the cameras, we would have all fallen off the end.
