Not gonna lie, you can look at BTF lighting which does the same thing for roughly $20-$30. You just need to get the controller and power adapter separately. It is still a way better deal than the scam of Govee.
Actually 60 LEDs per meter has been standard for years with most high quality strips. So no Govee has not done anything great by getting out of the junk range and moving to the mid range.
Have you heard about WLED??? You can make 5mts of 144 LEDs per meter probably for half the price and 10x the functionality, advise you to do so, that is what will change your view.... That is the game changer, not this.

I'll pay 20 to 30 for cool lights not 100. No way in hell. Govee is pricing themselves out of business. They were cheap n the best. They need to get back to that formula
I would because of quality, reliability, razer chroma sync and it looks great. Worst is buying cheap ones on amazon and dealing with returns and a bunch of other bullshit.
I bought five rolls of that for $100 when bed bath & beyond went out of business. Put it in My mom's house. definitely gives a nice look for a 120 year old house!
You can get 120 led per meter strips. Govee does not make the best strips, they make the best software to control the strips. You can get fantastic leds for a fraction of the price but you’ll sacrifice some control.
