Mad Dragon Ball Max
😅😅
Well said brother
Mad Max's Dragon Balls
I really like when side quests are more than just paths to more xp/loot. Actually having them serve a purpose is a nice thing that I don't see enough.
Just sad Akira Toriyama's gone and couldn't live to see this released. It still doesn't feel real for me. RIP King.
king doesn't seem esteemed enough, RIP saint? emperor? legend...
@@AlienInvaderthe legend is better, he made our childhood, so he'll live with us in spirit and soul. our children next :D
@@AlienInvaderlegend definitely fits best.
This game just looks plain beautiful. Possibly the best looking anime-style game I've ever seen. Akira Toriyama's style brought to life once again, wish he could have seen it.
I imagine he did see the pre-release versions.
But it really screams Akira Toriyama. I knew he was involved the moment i saw the first screenshot.
He saw the game as it was in January, there's a quote from him.
Started watching you 2 years ago and you've now become my go to gaming channel - i was interested in this game and came to you for judgement over any reviews and will hold off to hear from you
Absolutely love the art style.
Well, from what I've heard, this certainly isn't a half-assed licensed product like most Bandai Namco would release on the frequent. Such is the respect Akira Toriyama has.
10 hours of playtime so far and I’m in love with this game.
I think I’m getting older because whenever i hear that you had to pay for a game yourself I always think “gosh i hope he writes it off.”
Oh yeah, I keep a list and receipts of my expenses which includes a list of any games I had to purchase myself for the year
Stealth "combat"
Stealth takedown: "Boo!"
Your the best review Chanel on CZcams. I really mean it, amazing reviews and based opinions each times
Ex Machina is another, yet much older, game that comes to my mind when I look upon these. Mad Max on trucks, it was so good when I was a kid.
Crazy I just started watching the anime, it's fun. The game looks great too and tanks are always fun in games
Major "Metal max xeno" vibes with a dragonball Z design and combat... I'm very much looking forward to giving this one a go
Between this and No Rest For The Wicked, great artwork is making a comeback
Nice video, going to download the demo to check it out. Thanks!
Keep up the great content!
I wasn't aware of this game, but the art style is great, reminds me of old school dragon quest and those jrpgs. I'll totally play it.
Looking forward to the full review! It's cute you wanna get your son into it. If you don't mind maybe let us know if he likes it.
This was pretty useful. Normally this wouldn't make it onto my radar, but I'm interested in learning more.
For Toriyama!
Thanks for the video. I really hope they worked in an "It's over 9000" reference. Onward to 400k. All glory to the algorithm.
Really looking forward to this game.
Had fun in the demo and there wasn't even a ton to do so I'll probably enjoy the full game. I doubt it's gonna revolutionize gaming but having fun is the most important
I can't wait to know what Mortisboy thinks!
ty for this , playing this right now 😁😁
This game rocks, it reminds me of DQVII and Blue Dragon mashed together with action combat and mecha vehicles.
will be waiting for a full review. just curious about how deep the vehicle customization for every each one
This game looks really cool!
some moments were reminiscent of MGSVPP and Valkyria Chronicles 😅 i want them to make the next Metal Slug game
I still play the metal slugs once in a while.
I just finished the anime and now I’m interested in the game. RIP Toriyama
Valkyria Borderlands with the last batch of Toriyama Characters? Sign me up.
IMO it’s very difficult to make deserts beautiful and worth exploring. Few games do this correctly. Sand Land I feel is now added to those games where the world looks beautiful
This seems like a fun time and not overly long.
I'll be buying this game mainly to play it with my nephew and niece, I enjoyed the demo and it seems the kind of game that doesn't require much skill to have fun!
Toriyama loved mechas and fancy vehicles so much, RIP
One thing to note is that the game has stuttering issues. Not Callisto Protocol levels of stuttering, but still.
Sand Land, for Sand Man.
(Or you know, a comment for the algorithm)
"Hey son, I have this little game where you get to play as a demon. It feels like a good fit for you."
thanks
This looks absolutely fantastic! Never heard of it until now!
Looks like the monsters drop loot now? That's great. I was a little confused why we would bother attacking monsters in the desert when they didn't drop any loot in the demo
The demo was just so we could see how the vehicles worked. There wasn’t anything else to do in the demo and the devs stated as much before the demo was released.
Like as Usual . Waiting for freedom force . . ..
Nice
I think it is a cool game. Sucked me into a longer than normal first play time.
Looks cool but I'd probably only buy it after seeing your review
I’ve actually recently been thinking about buying the dragon ball manga box set.
I'd be interested in you covering the new SaGa game. It's Square's experimental RPG series, and has some design you might expect in more western RPG's. Along with really fun combat. It's very divisive but I love it, lol.
Oh good point yeah. He might have an interesting perspective on SaGa.
❤
I would probably guess it's connected to Toriyama's work even if it wasn't mentioned due to the art style
I'm really curious to know if this game is worth a pick up.
IMMORTAN!!!!
Let me know when you start Ghost of Tsushima
Gronk!
That price tag though....
60 dollars is pretty standard bro
@xJayhawkFANx not for a 11hr main campaign.
@@VyseSolo The main campaign takes on average 20 hours to complete for those who have reported their time. 30 hours with side quests. If you want to rush the campaign and not experience all the game has to offer then that's not the games fault. $60 is a fair price.
Can't play because it is not released in Turkiye. No Steam, PS, Xbox store. Can't get in touch with Bandai so I don't know why it is not released.
It is first time I'm experiencing this with Bandai Namco games, or like at all. Since we don't have regulations on gaming, everything is released here.
Kinda just reminds me of the mad max game that Avalanche did before Harry Potter. Sort wish they’d made it more of an rpg instead, maybe added variety with a turn-based combat system since they’re (Ilka) the same devs who made dragon quest 11 and one piece odyssey. Vehicular action combat, turn-based unit combat, and maybe some dramatic turn based bigger tank battles…
They made DQ 11 too? Wow. Seems it was really just BDSP that wasn't up to par. Glad they have an ok track record.
@@t.dmattocks6119 Did they make BDSP?? (Checked--yep, they did) Wow, I was definitely not a fan of that one either. DQ 11, as usual the design was Yuji Hori, etc, so they didn't do it on their own. I think they did mostly do One Piece Odyssey on their own, though.
Would be fun to watch Mortismal junior gameplay, along with the full review :)
Friend and foe alike use the same vehicles?
There some overlap, but not entirely
Sadly at full price I got other games to beat first! Will wait until sale.
free comment... land.
Is it like the Kakarot game engine or whatever? If anyone has played both.
I tried the demo, watched some gameplay...not for me, either make it a vehicle combat game or a classical punch-kick RPG, the mix isn't something I think makes sense.
lol the "stealth kill" is so PG
RIP Toriyama.
The demo gave me the impression that combat was like as basic as an early PS1/N64 licensed game. That bad.
The main point isn't ground combat, but using the bots.
@@ArcaneSorceror bot combat is also dull
@gregc.9313 I said licensed games not Banjo Kazoie or Crash Bandicoot level
I too have a 5 year old. Any games your kid likes you can recommend for other 5 year olds?
Minecraft and pokemon right now
it's pronounced mahn-guh, just a headsup.
at least that's how everyone i know pronounces manga
Graphic style turns me off so much
Sand land - land with sand and santa claus lost his hand while he stands and practise with his band. Now he cant watch at this land with sand because he doesnt want sand in his other hand. His last stand.
Sorry to say I never liked Toriyama's art style personally, so I never got into the DB or DQ series. Unfortunate for me I guess.
Anakin must really hate this game.
This got a chuckle out of me.
yooooooooooooooooooooooo fiiiiiiiiiiiiirst
The advertising on this was really bad. They didn't explain what it was so I legit thought it was an NFT project that was ripping off Toriyama's style. That said, looks good.
6/10 too much sand
Why did his last game need to have Satan as the main character? Dang.
???
You weren't kidding, that demo is worthless. It does a terrible job conveying what the game loop will be, I've seen multiple pass on the game because the demo left such a bad impression.
To the people who bought this. How do I get paint brushes? It’s a currency needed to paint your Vehicles but idk where to find it. The game doesn’t tell you in anything regarding it.
Nice
