I appreciate you like always I'm going to start my own budget camera gear on my channel because it's gear thats out there not being talk about enough I'm planning on getting the R8 And i've done plenty of research on it and ways to improve its weaknesses what are your thoughts on it

That’s funny you mention the color shift, that’s one of the big reasons I switched back to Canon from Sony. Had 3 Sony A74’s and two of them did that.
Same man I owned the a74 , you could lock the w/b but the colors didn’t do me right

Basically, the gist of it is: focus on content, not tech; If it's vlogging and CZcams videos (or anything else for that matter), it's always the content that rules (viewers don't usually care what camera you used, etc).
This is within reason, of course; you can't absolutely ignore production values (if it distracts inordinately from the content), but you don't necessarily need that latest or greatest tech, if it's simply the subject matter that people are interested in seeing.

Definitely thought you were going to Sony. That had me shook, but you're right it's not about the gear. It's the artist. Especially when it's not client work.
Bro try the Xh2-s had it loved it sold it for a sony fx3 and i miss it. I now also have a c70 testing out which one i like better...the c70 for me is more fun to use and im more creative with it. But the fuji hadit all, good video/colors/dr and the jpegs film emulations are just solid. Super good camera for socials and YT (ohh and it has open gate) bro love your content keep it up.
Love this video bro! SO true! I got the Lumix s5ii for social and the VERY occasional client work and it kills it (love shooting 6k open gate) Way better than the FX6 I had that was just collecting dust lol. Sold that haha

For us non content creators we pick a brand and we stick to it.

I had a brief exit to a hassey and the RZ 67 back in the day.
I have a team of five photographers a few are non canon shooters. I can who shot what just by looking at the color.
You know you can’t really tell us what we need right. Do you know my market, skill level ect nope.
100 percent of my income comes from my camera and with that I have to decide

Yeah that's true lol but if u have the option.. why not take it!? Ryan has worked for YEARS to get this point! his vision isn't defined by a brand plus him using different brands and explaining what he does or doesn't like about it helps "non creators" make an informed decision!
@@kdotvision yeah what he does or does not like. I pick up a camera and it will feel different to me. The way it renders will be pleasing to me or I might not like it.

I remember the canon Nikon wars back in the day.
I went to a Nikon workshop the instructor game me his opinion and a D800 12-24, 24-70, and 70-200 used it for an afternoon against my canon at the end I still love the colors from the canon better.
My mentor and old master photographer said at the end of the day if you are making those green merits that is what’s important

@@kdotvisionyea I so feel you.. you know this is what content creators do.. switch up,, and praise whatever camera they have at the time.. what’s gets me is that he use to praise canon.. now he’s speaking like he really didn’t like his canon cameras.. so in a few weeks he will be praising another brand.. that’s the part of the game.. the issue is that you have people that really buy cameras off the strength of his reviews on cameras.

I've never understood this thing of criticising people for trying out different camera brands. Depending on your career path, it can be a con. Eg if he's wants to be a cinematographer on a project, they already have the equipment lined up, and someone's asking you to be a camera operator of a Red or Arri, your response can't be "Sorry, I'm a Canon user" or "I'm loyal to Canon or Sony", and still expect to get the job.
Using different brands give you the advantaged of experience with the ecosystem, colour, menus etc
Don’t know why people in the comments are hating.
You can buy and sell any gear you want , it’s your money.
Plus who says you have to stick to a brand.
You can always switch back to canon any time.

Yeah, i own several cameras and going into deeper in colour, especially white balance i have not found any significant problem except for when i am using 3rd party lens, i have to even calibrate the colour shifts in camera. Maybe i will make reference to my R and compare with my rp r5 and r6mkii.
