I just love how calming the outro with the birds and the water sounds because it tells us that she is now into the blue and now has finally found peace and freedom.
The whole 2nd verse about rainbow is peak poetry. My fav lyrics lana has ever written.❤
Out of the black/into the blue is flat, layered, and compressed for tension and contrast. Her production is always brilliant. There’s always subtle if not obvious tension in her songs

@@PopAt50i agree if you like Lana you GOTTA react to A House In Nebraska! also i don’t think you’ve ever done a full album reaction but if you ever consider it Preacher’s Daughter as a whole is just mind blowing, it’s a concept album that tells an entire story it’s so immersive it genuinely feels like watching a movie! i would recommend having the daughters of cain wiki pages open for each song though to help follow the plot anyways i’m rambling LOL
