@@SendoSityebi I am perfectly capable of answering your question, and I shall do so as concisely as possible: South A'a will ONLY experience economic growth if South Aa's economy is freed up (i.e. economic freedom). South Aa needs economic freedom and economic freedom is ECONOMIC CAPITALISM or CAPITALIST ECONOMICS. South Aa needs to have a free-market economy to economically grow.
There's much more I could add to this topic, though yous are more likely to read this short paragraph I wrote for yous above.

I really enjoyed Herman Mashaba, but I think that maybe Sol should run interviews like this. You can tell that he is interested in what Herman has to say and Mac G isn't.
Mac G's often-lack-of-interest in our country's social ills (politics) doesn't sit well with me. He's a working class parent with two children who are citizens of this country and they will probably "only" live in this country, but he's forever unbothered. You can even hear how he speaks about voting, and then I think, this is a man with two children who live in SA and still have to live in SA many years from now, how is he unbothered about where the country is politically. What kind of SA does he want his children, most importantly, to live and grow up in.
Guys we're at an age now were us voting isn't for our benefit, it is for the benefit of those who come after us. Hope I'm making sense.

I don't think Mac realise how big this platform is... I see him being interested in other people's dirty laundries and who had sex with who somewhere at the party...even when he talks politics he lacks knowledge of what's going around... Partially so. The problem is you taking exception to MacG's lack of interest in the country's politics. Are we not supposed to respect his choice as much as he respects your choice of voting for the corrupt ANC over and over again. We (black people) are our own enemy. We know that the ANC is corrupt and has failed dismally to take our country forward, instead of voting them out we opt not to vote (probably because we can't bear the pain of voting for a party other than the ANC - blind loyalty they call it).
For the part where you speak of voting for the benefit of our children and future generations, I totally agree with you that is why I have stopped voting for the ANC. The future generations deserve economic freedom - this can be achieved by the return of the land to its rightful owners: Africans.

@@SendoSityebi To his credit he did say that he found Action SA policies better than the DA which is very surprising for me because the DA and Action SA policies say exactly the same thing in different ways.
They are both opposed to BBBEE but offer absolutely no alternative. They both want an an open capitalistic free market which will favour those who have and forever keep those who don't have in perpetual bondage.
Yes I do agree with both parties about their stance on the overhaul of our education system. They don't really go into detail about the how except criticising the teacher's union.
All in all the DA and Action SA may potentially run the country better in terms of the lower hanging fruits of governing the country but that's not what the struggle for liberation was for.
Unfortunately a lot of black people have simply lowered the bar as you have so prudently pointed out.

What a beautiful chaotic interview...one thing for sure Herman Mashaba wears his heart on his sleeve...he is passionate about South Africa and I think he deserves all the support...my thing is...if he can win Gauteng province...or manage to get into a coalition that will make him a premier... Gauteng province will transform. The province is littered with crime, potholes, dirty and I think he is capable of sorting this out.
