    I am shocked !! Shocked by the fact that what Mmusi Maimane said he experienced when he married his wife some people WITHDREW from attending their wedding because they thought it was WRONG to marry a white woman. This is what i also experienced when i marry my husband. People who promised to come to attend our wedding, decided not to come any more as their conscience told them that our wedding was WRONG. But the wedding was amazing without them, and we are EXTREMELY HAPPY with my husband being in a mixed relationship. Interrelationships is about LOVE and not the colour of the skin.

    10:20 Watching this.. He's gained my trust. The more he shares with us, the more I'm getting to know him... I've come to realize how much his involvement with the DA, then, affected my trust with him.... He's actually not as I thought of him to be... I was convinced that he didn't have his best interests for the country & our people... I'm happy that he's actually solid. Media has a way of painting people for who they're truly not. I actually think he'll make the cut to be president... Because of this one interview... It gave me conviction. He's got no hidden agendas or hidden traits as I imagined.. Looking at our history & the political party he started with, it gave me the wrong impression that he's with the oppressors, when he actually had good intentions... Based on this interview, I see him for who he is... He's actually cool & he's actually fighting the same cause. Respect.

      Operation Dudula is not about hating Africans, it's about holding illegal immigrants accountable for their actions. If you don't qualify to be in the country you should not be here. We know that government corruption and incompetence is also a big part of the problem. We have to start somewhere in addressing this problem.

    • @lekis5975
      @lekis5975 Před 2 lety

      @@venussimo You will be surprised to know that the biggest illegal immigrants in South Africa come from Europe and Asia. Life in Europe is TOUGH, from the cost of living (good and accomodations, to the weather down to the lacklustre human relations. Some of them are willingly run to Africa to make money, and enjoy the lower standard of leaving and good weather.
      In the UK, Black people are treated as the face of illegal immigration, yet Home Office statistics show that Australians, Canadians, Kiwis (New Zealand) Americans tend to OVER STAY their VISAS.
      Operation Dudula needs to target ALL the illegal immigrants instead of targeting low hanging fruit. White people are making more money out of Black people. In fact Operation Dudula would be of great benefit to the Black Community, if they instigated a BUY BLACK CAMPAIGN.

    I would vote for Mr. Maimane because I'm a genZ and I want to see change in our country. The government did not distribute the RDP homes to citizens who applied for them in the 90s and now, which led to the current informal settlements. Most informal settlements are built on land that is not meant for construction development because the soil is soft and it will easily erode. Back to the KZN disaster: whoever approved those homes to be built on that land needs to be held accountable.

    From 19:18 Mmusi says something very profound... "I happen to believe that human beings are redeemable. I happen to believe that people can change, unless they choose themselves not to change... Along the journey we may get it wrong, but we need to call people out, we need to call ourselves to greatness. The conversation isn't aided when we say 'Nah, I'm done'" People are so quick to want to cancel MacG, but some of us see greatness within MacG, Ghosti and Sol. Danko, Ntate Mmusi. @Babalo Mfuleni The ANC has been the dominant party for 28 years! *In South Africa, people vote for the PARTY*. In other countries, *people vote for an M*. If you want to be an MP, you go door to door and hold rallies in the constituency to explain to the constituents why you are a good fit.
      The good eggs in the ANC have been silenced out of fear of being deselected from the party list. If you don't make the party list, you can't be an MP.
      The ANC like this voting method because when they came back from exile, they were unknown. They were afraid that people would for the large part only vote for people who stayed in the country eg Mam Winnie etc. So they refused to promote direct voting. Also, they find it easier to CONTROL an MP because they can threaten to deselect an MP if he fails to tow the party line.
      South Africans must campaign for DIRECT vote to break the power of parties.
