That comping section Santana does behind the organ that starts here at 3:07 is my favorite part of this song. In the Woodstock movie/soundtrack version, that background comping by Carlos with Dave Brown’s
bass and Mike Shrieve flailing away, that section sounds like a freight train coming through. Really tight!
