    1. Exercise on the elliptical for an hour and a half (for two months)
    2. When it stopped working, started the treadmill.
    3. She recommends making a vision board, where you detail how you will lose the set amount of pounds you want to lose
In her vision board, the 5 main things were
    (1) eating healthy: oats, veggies, eggs, protein shakes, fruits
Lunch: salad, veggies, fish, chicken, stir-fry
    Dinner: quinoa, veggies, chicken
Snacks, hummus, vegetables, she ate so much fruit for snacks (grapes, oranges, apples)
    (2) Exercise: workout (she worked out every single day: she did an hour minimum)
    (3) Motivation: think about the reason, why you started (her motivation was clothing)
    (4) Drink water (don't have soda, pop, juice, "do not have any liquids other than water")
    4. She wrote down her weekly weigh-in
    5. Plan what you are going to eat exactly for the week, and your workouts
"Growth is painful, change is painful, but nothing is as painful as being stuck somewhere you do not belong"

I think this is so important for people to know because sometimes we convince ourselves that if we can’t pay for a gym membership we won’t be able to lose weight. You’re right, with so many apps and social media posts with exercises you can do at home/in your room, no need for gym! If people don’t have a treadmill/eliptical then take 45-60 min walks!

I feel you, everything you've stated i went through it too. Its almost 2 months since i'm on my weight loss journey and i lost 9 kg. Today i was feeling a little demotivated cause i'm not losing as fast as i did in the first month but youtube recommended me your video, i'm so happy for that. Love yourselves guys and if you want to lose weight do it for yourself and not because someone else is telling you to. People always told me lose weight and the way they would say it was hurtful and this caused me to try losing but after a day or week i would give up and binge on eating cause i was very unhappy, sad and hated myself(the way i looked) but yet i wasn't doing anything to lose weight so that was making me even more angry and sad. But since the past 2 months i've become super health concious bc of some health issues and started eating healthy and working out. I used to hate shopping and make up bc i always thought that no matter what i'll be ugly and fat so why dress up and put on make up that'll do nothing that's how unconfident i was. The key for me was to start loving myself( i'm not there yet but slowly slowy i'm started to love myself) and that made me start taking care of myself, my body and concious of what i put inside my body. This video hit home for me. Before my 21st birthday I decided that by 21 I’d be in the best shape of my life. I did it to show an ex what she gave up and it worked for me to an extent, once I did it for myself it changed my life. I got down to 179lbs from 215lbs. Fast forward 5 years and I’m married. I hit my heaviest weight ever of 251lbs last year and just recently decided that I have to do something. It’s so hard to get back the motivation that I once took for granted. I’m down 12 pounds so far and my wife is exercising and dieting with me. I feel amazing but your video definitely motivated me to talk myself out of eating junk when I have a craving. It can be difficult to pass up snacks when everyone around you eats them and can stay skinny but just know that they don’t go home and eat the same garbage you’ve been eating for 5 years. Get up. Get out. Get fit!

I lost over 85lbs doing the keto diet and biking. I lost some muscle mass, but it is okay, I know usually guys like myself want big arms, but I think I'm done with that life. Getting those nice big arms are not all that, because once you let it go only for like a day, it then turns into a huge struggle, HOWEVER, my calisthenics improved, I can do pull-ups, abs, push-ups, and all kinds of self body weights now and now I have a sculpted lean muscle mass on me and my clothes are just better fitted on me now and all that extra weight is off my back and knee joints. Life got better at a lower weight and with lean muscle. I'm not ever gonna go back to the hulky-muscle/fat bod.

For anyone watching and seeing this commment. Actually.. you need to lift. It helps build muscle which burns calories. Maybe not in the beginning. But also doing an hour of cardio you’re just going to have to keep doing that or increasing. Also you shouldn’t work out every day (especially when lifting). You need a rest day. If you don’t rest your body can’t do what it needs to do. But healthy eating is like 80% of losing weight. I am proof that if you just exercise but don’t eat the best you will gain weight. This is all personal story from me. I learned how to do iifym from CZcams. And i watch Whitney Simmons for lifting workouts. My body fat is now 24.3 (not sure what it was at the start) from dexa. that is ideal apparently but I still need to build more muscle so I can try to get down to about 20%. :)

And I feel more stronger and toner. Though eating good also helps, because I took advantage of that lols, so I noticed and had to start all over again!

Lifting weights has always been the fastest way for me to lose weight, with healthy eating of course. I'll do kettlebell swings, followed by a lower body exercise like squats, followed by an upper body exercise like chest presses. I'll do 6 to 7 trios like this using different lower and upper body exercises with very little rest between sets so it's aerobic. Moderately heavy weights with moderately high reps.

When you’re trying to reach a goal, tell yourself over and over that there is no other option until you believe it. When you feel like cheating, think about what your future will look like if you continue your habits. Stop telling yourself “I’ll start next week” or “It was a rough day, I deserve ____.” I promise you’ll always find an excuse. Be truly honest with yourself about when you deserve a break. You can do anything, but you will never be successful without the right mindset and motivation. It might take a while to find that, but it’s the only key to reaching your goals.

I also have started my own vision board! I know this is going to be so hard to get into but I want to do this for myself! Thanks for the inspiration❤️

Its taken me 8 months to lose 20 pounds.. It's a slow process for me, because I'm trying to be super gradual, but this motivated me to speed up the process a bit.

Be patient, slow and steady, you'll get there, remember u did'nt gain the wt. overnight, so therefore ur not going to lose it overnight and don't become a slave to the scale, good luck in ur endeavor

Speeding up isn't the best unless you're obese! Please don't speed up keep it gradual and I'm confident you'll lose the wight off for good!!

A few years ago when I was a teen, I lost 35-40 pounds in about 6 -8 months using an elliptical and healthy eating. Then college happened and gained all of it again without even knowing and also having PCOS so, here I am after 10 years , 183 pounds , starting a weight loss journey again. Your vid is really motivational and you look great!! Thanks for sharing your story.

My motivation was Shopping too!!! I just hated looking at myself when I went to try on something cute but it never fits the way I wanted it to. So I started my strict diet again. For me is really really hard to lose weight after having a baby. Its already been 3 years and I'm still very overweight!! I was 200 pounds and it was so hard to even stand long, I would have feet pain!! So yeah it took me 3 or 4 years to lose all that weight!. My goals is to be 115 again.

I want to join the U.S. Air Force but I need to lose 15 pounds to meet the weight requirement. It breaks me heart to feel stuck. Last year I managed to drop 40 pounds in 3 months by cutting carbs. However, I'm trying to lose more weight now and I can't stay consistent and seem to have no motivation. I truly want to be in the military because it'll help with my career and help me be on my own. If I don't lose the weight I'll be stuck at my dead end job living with my parents lol. I'm only 20 but I'm so ambitious. I swear I'm gonna get my shit together. Thank you for the tips and encouragement!!😭❤

No offence, but he should love u for Ur personality, looks fade but personality doesn't, when Ur both old there won't be no good looks but if u love each others personality u can still enjoy those good convos😁 dw about him I know it can be discouraging cuz my family do the same to me, but just focus on making yourself happy not him, point out to him looks don't last (plus men tend to loose their elasticity when they get into their 50s/60 so get saggy chins and bigger bellies as metabolism slows down, plus their hairlines recede soo he may end up being bigger too🤷‍♀️)
