yeah, its a shame. I really like Phaedra, but I also know Dan is a gamer and taking Phaedra out would be genius move if it worked. And Dan was going out if it didnt work. Any other option wouldnt work. Parvati is too obvious traitor out and wouldnt save his ass, and any other person is not a traitor, so Dan would still be suspicious for being so wrong. Phaedra was sadly high-risk high-reward and Dan is known for playing bold. I knew he was going for her this time. It was big swing and he is out now. Thats it
Such a class act. I knew when he was released on the cast he’d be a traitor and never last long given his reputation (seems the entire cast felt the same way when they saw him). Hope we get more of him on our tv screens moving forward
It wasn't his rep. It was his bad game play. The people who picked him had no idea who he was. MJ, LARSA, MARCUS, PETER... They all baked him early because of he bad game play. He didn't talk, his reactions to news, and his poor decisions. He was too arrogant. And his bad game play threw the rest of the traitors on the line of fire. He should have listened to parv when she says not to do bergie. Shouldn't have gone after phaedra. He tried another Dan funeral. 😂😂😂
@@carladavis1473 It was a bit of both. If you go back and listen to Larsa’s accusation I’m almost positive that she mentions something about his reputation. Also, Dan was one of the only “gamers”(part of his rep), in the house that was also a male. His rep absolutely was part of it.
Not a class act he’s tuning on a Traitor. If he recruited me I wouldn’t trust him. He & Parvatti tried to get Phaedra banned the 1st week.
Dan thought he was soo smart. You can’t play this game alone.

I can see why he is so good…he’s quite charming and his self-deprecation is endearing.
Anyone that has ever seen Phaedra on RHOA knows she's not one to mess with, she's loyal to those that have her back...But, the second you try to play her, it's a wrap...I guess Dan learned the hard way. 😂 Phaedra will eventually let bygones be bygones, and her and Dan will be cool again. I'd love to see them work together on something. Love you, Dan.
Hope so. They were good together... But its called the traitors xD And Dan always planned to stab her in the back, as its honestly the best move to win the game with her as another traitor with you. Phaedra is too likeable and even if you reach finale, she will have votes on her side to kick you out with ease. Dan wouldnt last either way with Phaedra in the game. It was all-in or out xd

32:24 this is where Dan went wrong. Phaedra and Dan's relationship was disposable to him because he is too busy trying to be a "competition" fan when realistically Phaedra is way more iconic than the pair of them this season. It is surprising that even now he doesn't see that.

He does state this in the video, he had already built a relationship with Parvati and felt the element of surprise could work against Phaedra.

If he would take out someone totally unsuspected as Phaedra and she was a traitor, he would go from being in hot-seat, to being as saint as Peter in this game He took a bold swing and he lost though. Going for Parvati would save him for one more episode tops as it was a safe'ish bet everyone would see through. Same as Parvati is still in hot seat even after voting Dan out. It wasnt a good move for him. Going for Phaedra was riskiest, but best move he could make if it worked.

Love Dan, just sad that he didn't work with Phaedra when she was so clearly loyal. Parv is the one who would've written his name in a heartbeat. Hasn't he seen Survivor? Parv wrote a D with the letter crossed out to show the roundtable the first time everyone was going after him.

yes, please! He was playing bad here, but I hope he learned. He had good strategy and was playing 5 steps ahead. He just made all the wrong choices possible, but its still more interesting to see these bold moves, rather than all safe, all boring safe contestants

I am trying to understand why he said he didn’t expect Phaedra to be so eloquent at the round table when they all know she’s a lawyer. He’s had secrets and private conversations with her so why didn’t he think she could speak up for herself 🤔

The Traitors Reunion is FILMING next week to air first week of March after finale.
Cirie did her talking before the roundtable. She connected personally with the Rookies who were Faithfuls & they kept her safe. Cirie was also playing 1/2 of the cast that were ROOKIES. She had the most Reality tv experience than even the other Reality stars. 17yrs on Reality tv, 4X’s on Survivor and a win on 🐍 in the grass. She was a Legend playing ROOKIES.

Dan's ego is tooooo huge. Wow. Michael Jordan?? The way he talks himself up so much. Sorry Dan you played with a bunch of dummies on BB. You were a terrible player this game!
yeah, he made many wrong choices, but he didnt play badly. Well, he wasnt doing good job looking as a faithful, but other than that he turned roundtable around 2 times in this season. People trusted him. He took high risk high reward shot in the end and it cost him. If he could pull it off though, it would make him look more saint than Peter in eyes of other faithfuls. He was playing 5 steps ahead though and didnt think about playing now. I hope to see him more in next seasons...
Loved Dan as a player before and love him exactly as much post Traitors. Super grateful he played and we got to see him play with Parv (!!!) in a game with Janelle and Sandra and it was such a dream. I feel like you asked and Dan answered all of the questions I had and I love that about your interviews! They’re really satisfying because you know what the fans want to know, you ARE a fan! You’re one of us!! Queen Sharon!
Enjoyed every minute of this and Dan is a class act. He’s competitive and cutthroat in the game, but outside the game he’s a nice, down-to-earth, sincere person which I love.

Love it! "He's gonna tell you he's not watching it, but he is." Exactly! Will is probably in secret watching all this Dan losing traitors revelling in it, but when he comes on the show, he's gonna pretend he barely cared or never expected anything. He always felt threatened by Dan (and Janelle) and will never admit to it. But, that is what makes him such an interesting personality. Darn, though, I wish we got to see Will, Dan, and Janelle on our screens at the same time.

I think Dan is one of those Big Brother alumni who couldnt do a full season of Big Brother given where he is in his live. Thats why The Tratiors applied to him. Not only is it a new game but the schelude of taping meant he wouldnt be away from his loved ones for a while. If Dan was a better tratior he would have won. He underestimated Phaedra. The moment Ekin-Su was murdered in Plain Sight, I knew he was screwed. Great interview Sharon.

Well, I feel like he didn't rule out reindeer games.
He thought doing a surprise attack on Phaedra with those child-like arguments at the roundtable would get him further when she defends surprise attacks for a living on the courtroom floor against district attorneys, etc. I wouldnt be thrilled with him either if i were Phaedra. He thought she was just a dumb housewife. Dan's problem is he thinks hes the smartest person in the room and he got brought down to reality. He tuned out parveti when she tried to warn him. He thought Peter was too dumb to trap him. The faithfuls told him they want a name and he ignored them and kept up his horrible gameplay. That was his time to pivot. He should have went against parvati when the trap got her too, but "didnt because he rode in the car with her and had a connection to her". Really! He led with emotions instead of having his head in the game AND he underestimated everyones intelligence.
Tbh, he didnt lead with emotions at all. All the things you mentions were bad calls, like underestimating housewives or bachelors starts. But they were clearly calculated, not emotion-based. He was used to playing with people not playing 5 steps ahead like he does. So Peter caught him easily. I would love to see Dan again in traitors with new plans
people keeps saying Peter's plan was genius but I really don't think it is, it was a good plan but pretty basic and not the first time we've seen a plan similar to his. I'm rooting for him if he turns traitor but I thinks he gets way to much credit for a basic plan

Dan was thinking 5 steps ahead and as he explains, no matter what he does, if he even gets to finale and Phaedra is there with him - he was already assuming she would vote him out, like it happens many times in traitors in the finale fire circle. The least suspected stays and Dan alwasy was on radar, Phaedra wasnt. It wasnt petty. It was only long game move that could get him finale. And what other reason to play there is? He took the chance to win it all or nothing and missed. Thats it.

I totally agree! He was the first to suggest turning on Phaedra EARLY on (a fellow traitor) in the game and for what reason??? Parvati ended up leading that charge and you see how that played out. The fact that he went after her AGAIN instead of what seemed like an obvious save…Parvati just affirms what your saying. There was an obvious bias. 🤔

yeah, It got me hard, but his game wasnt great. He was thinking 5 steps ahead and got blinded by underestimating other reality tv opponents. I wish he will get another go, like Kate did. He is a great player. His strategy was good, but he missed with too many choices
