The 68-74 Nova is an under-appreciated body style! Small, easy to work on, roomy enough for family. Love them!

Thank you for posting this video. I am putting the tank back in a 70 Nova that I bought a year ago. Prior owner had a fuel cell in the trunk. The one thing I really wanted to see was the configuration of the rear bolts/spacers that secure the tank straps (I found the bolt kit at Summit... wasn't sure on its installation). At 18:47 into your video, you have a perfect shot of the installed strap bolts and spacers, which is EXACTLY what I needed to know. Thanks again. Good job.

Great to see you finally managed to change the tank. Did you find out why the fuel guage was not working properly? My guess is the float not sitting in the correct position inside the tank. I would have cleaned up the bodywork underneath while the tank was out and painted it but i guess you don't have the time for that with all your other commitments. Looking forward to the next episode.

Jason the fuel gage wire might be might be wired up the wrong way around on the back of the the fuel gage positive and negative. Or the wire that connects to the fuel sender on the tank might need a good clean it looked pretty rusty when you took it off. All so cheek the earth wire that connects to the tank and follow the wire to the front if the car. It maybe it may be broken in the wire some where from driveling over something. If it was me i would be replace both of the wires at the tank first before looking at the fuel gage. Unless you have had the dashboard apart cheek the fuel gage first.🙏🙏🙏😁😁😁😁😎😎😎😎🏎🏎🏎🏎🏎
