I don't know that it is so much turning the other team's crowd as it is having a large following of your own. I'm sure there are other team's fans who appreciate Caitlin, but most of the cheering is coming from Clark/Fever fans who snapped up a bunch of tickets in an away arena. Strong fan bases don't leave that many empty seats for opposing fans.

It happens in every city they visit. I live in San Diego, and I drove to Las Vegas to see CC play. The Aces are WNBA reigning champs, and when the Fever came to Vegas, the Aces changed venues to accommodate a larger audience.
No one else draws that kind of attention. Then CC delivers! This caliber of player is a once in a generation phenomenon, and it is very exciting.🎉🏀🏀
