O-Linemen truly have a thankless job. Here's some facts for the snickering John Hannah got here. The 1978 Patriots rushed for an NFL record 3,165 yards behind Hannah and the team had 4 rushers who gained over 500 yards including QB Steve Grogan and also rushed for 181 first downs that year thanks to paths Hannah created. Widley recognized recognized as the best offensive lineman when he retired. First Team All Pro selection 10 years in a row. A 9 time Pro Bowler. In his 13 year career he only missed 5 games due to injury. First Patriot in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and a first-ballot HoF'er. Yeah. He was a pretty good player, you could say.

He held the receiving touchdown record (99) for 60 years before Steve Largent broke it in the 1980s. When you are talking about a player's greatness, I think the best way is to compare what they did to the players in their era. Hutson was by far the best receiver during the time he played. Maybe if they focused on building the defense up really well during that time, but Marino hated to hand the ball off. I bring this up because Marino, like most of us who watched him play, preferred it when he threw the ball. The best situation they should have come up with would have been to draft or hire a guy like Roger Craig or Rickey Waters who are both 1,000 for rushing and 1,000 for receiving yards in a season. They could be integrated in to the passing plays that Marino preferred.

The Browns Rushmore, even though I know I'm going to get hated, is definitely better than the Giants and probably the Dolphins. Paul Brown revolutionized the game and essentially invented modern football. Jim Brown, the greatest running back ever. Otto Graham, the only quarterback in football history to lead his team to the championship 10 years in a row. And the last spot you can kind of throw up between a few players, Ozzie Newsome, one of the best tight ends ever, I'd be willing to put Joe Thomas on as one of the best left tackles ever, Lou Groza, one of the best kickers and tackles ever, or Paul Warfield, one of the best receivers of the 60s and 70s. I think that's a top 4 that makes it onto the list. If essentially a top 3 in the Patriots can make it as high as they did, I think the Browns deserve to be on the list.

the 49ers would of been the first team to 3peat if roger Craig didn't fumble in the 1990 NFC championship. joe Montana got hurt in that game and steve young came in. all they needed to go is hold the ball and they would have won. and its really unfair to Roger Craig. I think he should be in the Hof. he was a really great running back and he can catch really well, he was the first player in NFL history to have over 1000 of rushing and over 100 recaptions in 1 season. people say that the 49ers never forgave for doing that, but it could of happen to anybody. and he was one of reasons y then won super bowls. Craig killed the Miami in the super bowl.

I like how they didn't have anyone say anything good about the Patriots. For Brady, it was just the narrator in the background. They spent half the segment hating on John Hannah, a quarter of it making Gronk seem like an idiot, and then split the rest making fun of Belichick's scowl and Brady's dimple.
