Dragons are obviously a thing of fiction, found in fairy tales, folklore and some show I don’t want to talk about. It still hurts. But, the idea of dragons didn’t just come out of thin air, like many mythical beasts they were inspired by real life nature.
The documentary we’re featuring today is about one of those myth inspiring animals, the sungazer lizard, also known as the giant dragon lizard and by its scientific name, Smaug giganteus. Yes, smaug like the dragon. This amazingly beautiful lizard is disappearing quickly because of the pet trade and people’s desire to own a dragon of their own. And the answer to saving the species may not be found out in the wild, but in a science lab aided by the trusty pipette.

It's a simple parentage verification dna test. many dog and cat registries already do that. Simple paternity testing. have the parents on file.. then do dna confirmation the parents.. it requires the captive breeders or thoes who say they are have the parent stock to profile..

The ACTUAL FACT in this case would be that
the scientific naming of the south african lizard was in 2011. Yep 2011. Long, long, loooong after not only the writing of
The Hobbit but also the death of its author.

I got a video topic recommendation for you. A Finnish company called Polar Night Energy has started testing an energy storage method where electricity/energy is stored as heat in sand. That heat could then be distributed as district heat to the local area during winters. I think it's a really interesting concept.
