Backspin is controlled by attaching the non-releasing part of the sling about 2 cm inboard of the release pin. Chris Gerow taught me this technique, and you can control the amount of backspin by how far separated the two attachment points are. Question: What would too much backspin look like? LV
Well, I figure he decided to do this when I advertised finally getting beyond 1000 ft. He certainly is quite fiendish in his appraisal of human nature. I simply couldn't say no to it, and it's serially destroying my weekends. On top of this I must live with the possibility that someone building a another device just goes out one afternoon and hits with a lucky shot. Argh! LDVAnce
