BNSF 1687 Leading Willmar Locals| 12/18&21/2023

Willmar has quite a few SD40-2s hauling locals around the terminal. In this video we first see 1687 teamed up with 1940 hauling the Madison/Maddy local starting in the small town of Clarkfield on the Hanley Falls Sub and then see it fly up the Marshall Sub from Hanley Falls to Willmar. A couple days later I found the Willmar east local in Cokato and chased to Kandiyohi along the BNSF’s Wayzata Sub. While it is disappointing to see 1687 fallen victim to the primer paint door, seeing anything in green paint is worth seeing I think.
