Born On The Forth Of July

I woke up from a dream this morning with an idea to write about real people that maybe this current generation has never heard of. I have written over 50 songs that all have a tie in somehow to a good spin.
The blues in general are not known for happy ending but tragedy. This song is that example. Alan Blind Owl Wilson, became part of the very sad story of the 27 club. Unless you are and old school rocker you probably don't that term. This song is meant to introduce to an amazing talent gone way to soon. The industry does a poor job of remembering him. Us old timers remember and appreciate. I would loved a different happy ending, Its the blues and lived and died the blues. RIP
