- How I make the polymer clay flowers for my pixie doors! This demo is with Sculpey 3 but I really recommend Premo or a stronger clay for this technique. Feel free to take a peek at more clay fun here: / wishingwellworkshop
I love your audience’s reaction. Beautiful work and appreciated by all who saw it in action!
Thank you so much! The most reactions came from my grandma. She's the cutest! :)
Ah! So she is YOUR grandma!💗 Reminded me of my grandmother too lol.. aren't they just the sweetest?!
She sounds wonderful! My Grandma was like that, very supportive and interested in a whatever I was doing. Such blessings they are… and now I’m the Grandma to two sweet teenage girls.

Adorable people and flowers.
Thank you so much! My Grandma is my number one fan! :)
What a nice tutorial. Amazing how such a simple cane yielded those delicate little blossoms! I was totally cracking up at/with your audience, tho. I work with seniors at my local arts & crafts society and will be teaching them soon how to cover glass jars with polymer clay. Sure hope they're as patient and impressed as your audience was!! Thanks so much!
I'm glad you like the lesson! My audience in this case is my family. Grandma just loved it lol! :)
@@wishingwellworkshop8130 Awww, so nice Grandma can see your artistry. She must be so proud of you. Mine would have enjoyed it, I'm sure. I have admiring sisters and friends ... makes such a difference, right? Trying out your flowers tonight!!
GO BRONCOS!!!! Great video. Loved it.
Thank you! Go Broncos!!!
Great tips! Making square canes round is a difficult feat, pinching the corners! Ah ha, excellent Tut, thanks for sharing
So glad you enjoyed it! :)
Hi
Beautiful as always 😊
Thank you so much, Tracey! :)

Thanks so much! :)
Wow 😮
Thank you!
of course! :)
Great video. Thanks
ha! I see you already watched it. ;)
These are really pretty. Could you put a hole through somehow to use as a bead?
You could! A toothpick is a good way to add a hole before curing :)
Go Broncos!!
Goooo Broncos!!!!
@@wishingwellworkshop8130 We used to live in Denver and moved to Texas a couple years ago, will always be a Bronco fan!
Great audience
You speak about cutting the whole packages in 12 pieces, can you tell me how many pieces of that for each color you used for this tutorial? I tried to make one but I used just a very small amount of each color haha it didn't work hahah Of course I am a newbie - Love your channel :) thanks so much :)
I'm so happy you are enjoying the channel! :) For that blend I'd say I used a few squares of each color. You can try a little more, as it might be easier to handle until you get the hang of it! :)
@@wishingwellworkshop8130 Ok I will give it another go - thanks so so much :)
@@countryannescreations1005 Anytime!! :)
Does temperature make a difference, mine came out breaking up...... what setting did you start at. Thanks
the clay should be warm from your hands, but shouldn't matter too much. Make sure both colors are conditioned (mixed) really well individually before you try to blend them together. I use the largest setting on the pasta machine to start, and the smallest setting when I'm ready to roll up the initial bullseye cane. ;)
Wishing Well Workshop Thank You, greatly appreciate 😀
What if you don’t have a pasta machine
It's not an easy look to achieve without one, I'm afraid. They sell clay machines at most craft stores, so with a coupon it isn't too costly. Plus you'll just love it! :)
Should always give the color name and type of clay
It was sculpey 3 but I prefer premo. Thanks for the tip.
this could be done with any color or type of clay so I guess she knew we could figure that out
Debra Polenz why? because you could use any color you want... the point of the vid was to show us how to make the simple cane.
ronie327 you can make a simple cane with any two colours, so don’t see your point!
Nice dude, been checking out some of your stuff, I gave this here vid a like! You doing ok today? I myself do vlogs, if you like such things, I'm trying to be fairly consistent with putting them out. They're here if you like funny things: czcams.com/users/M3GreatRiffs Keep up the good work!
Hey thanks so much! :)
