Your canes are amazing. Mixing the true red with a little bit of white and a lot of black and expecting a lighter red was kind of unhinged though.
The artist going by Draw Mix Paint on CZcams has made a video on mixing colors that is amazing. It's called How to Mix Any Color or something like that. That's what I recommend to everyone who can't wrap their head around mixing of opaque colors.
