She was able to bake this again after painting?
Wow !! This is the first time I've seen someone use a stamp and mica powders instead of a veneer, and the result is beautiful. Your explanations were so clear and concise, you made it easy to follow along. Thank you for showing your work.

I sculpted it ahead of time :) Since polymer clay can be baked multiple times I like to create elements in advance so they don't squish on me ;)

Yep! Everything bakes together. The crystals and marbles are glass and clay bakes at a relatively low temperature, so it works just fine! :)

Then just bake it as instructed correct?
I’ve never worked with polymer clay before but I want to try! Do you have to bake those to harden them? Is the wood ok for baking? Or does it air dry?
Polymer clay is SO MUCH FUN!! Yes, it hardens in the oven and stays soft until you bake it. It cures at a fairly low temperature, so wood is definitely ok to use in the oven. There's a great website called The Blue Bottle Tree you should check out before you get started.
