RIP Chick :-( Ich war auf dem Paint the World Konzert in Bremen. Es war einfach abgefahren
Damn dude. This came on randomly while I was playing CZcams music at work. Blown the hell away.
@TheXMusicArchive might be your jam too brother
this is a new find for me.... that's amazing. Especially "space".
This band is so sadly underrated…It’s a so funny musical material, you never get tired of hearing it.
No lie ...
The band is not. The drummer is.
This album - is so worth "in-depth study", the sense of ensemble as well as the over-all tightness of the performances.... Track 11 "Spanish Sketch" is a study in both Solo AND Comping development. Listen to how the comping increases in complexity, density, and volume behind each solo (Drummers especially should study this track). moments of genius !
"Space" is one of my favorite pieces of all time.
mine to, sounds like adream
30 years later and still one of my all time favourite Elektric Band albums ever.
Like all the Elektric Band material but this one is my favorite. Thanks for posting.
Addicted to this album
My dad bought this CD and I immediately was in awe by these guys. Especially Gary's drumming.
Check the ' Gary Novak Drum Solo 1993 Chile' I think the song isn't listed but it's Tumba Island with Jimmy Earl on bass. Gary does a relentless 6+ min drum solo.
I wish they did more records with that particular band squad.
I agree. Really. This Drummer, Is Amazing in All Tracks!!!🤩😀💖
Was fortunate enough to see Gary play with Chick when they were touring the Time Warp album a few years after this.. He was incredible. He also set his kit up sideways so the audience could fully watch everything he was doing.
I can't believe it's 30 years since I brought this album cd. Gary Novak drumming on the Ished, especially in the B section.
Guitarist Michael Miller , Bass Jimmy Earl. Drums Gary Novak. Eric Marienthal Alto Saxophone.
What a lineup
Thanks for loading this masterpiece dude. Like the brother below said, it's nowhere to be found on Spotify, and that's bullshiieet!
Why is this not on Spotify??
Love this album, perfect.
Amongst the best music ever given to mankind by gods.
What i think is happening is that the label that has the right to distribute Chick's music has made an exclusive deal with Google and CZcams. But i could be wrong.
Yeah it’s not on iTunes either. Lucked out and bought the cd years ago. Fine, fine music.
Some rights bullshiieeet my brother! I kept on looking for it there like a dumbass time after time... fortunately i got the record, or, in here. Cheers.
It was, then disappeared. And I sold all of my CDs.
Love this album, it opened my world way back when!
I have never heard such fine, fine musicians perform such awesome music! I love that awesome, cool drummer. Don’t ever lose him man. Cool music!
Gary Novak, my No.1 drummer of all time ...
I could listen to your cool drummer always! Fine, fine man!

This is music for the musicians who want to specialize in music.. and ofcourse, thoroughly enjoy it. 😀
These are Chick corea Electric Band albums that I collected like baseball cards. Thanks for the good memories.
Thanks so much for posting. I know some of the tunes, but have never heard this album. Novak is killing it!

Muss ich erstmal verdauen
Schulfreundin und auf Bild zur Konfirmation.
Saw this lineup in Radford VA back in 94. Changed my life. Gary is a beast. No muffling in the kick and it was Mr Clean AF. These guys rocked out with hardly a PA and it was life altering. Thanks!
Excuse me "what about : Anthony Williams ; Lenny White or John Marshall ?)
@@pierrepicot3706 Never had the opportunity to see those legends live but I'm sure they would've knocked it outta the park as well, or maybe even further.
@@chadrumfulOk ; i can explain myself ; just a little think before (i prefer this drummer to Dave Wekcl : for my taste Dave was a technichian and he played to much ; i don't think that today) I was a bassist and i played with Lenny White who i'd seen for the first time in Marseille where i born and live today again (i don't gone to explain to you how or when) ; so i can say how Lenny play and i can hear how Anthony Williams or John Marshall play but anyways art is a taste point of view...so
Thanks For Sharing 👍
Thanks. I have a lot of Chick Corea/RTF but I missed this one. It’s great. Thanks for posting. Rest In Peace Chick Corea
Im a huge fan of the first one. Didnt even know there was a second one! Thanks friend!
I too also
@@ericbush6124 I don't know but on thé "bigfootpegrande there is a veary good live (with a very good sound to) ; exept it's Bob Berg on tenor sax ; John Patitucci on bass and without guitar
I absolutely love those unexpected, personal creative insets of particular players which are so good fit to general climate of a given piece...so much fun... :d
what a treasure, so heavy yet so above the clouds
This is pure gold! Plus, this album is not available on Spotify! Thanks Sir! Cheers from Brazil! 🤘🏽
Not on iTunes either
@@archivestereo it used to be
Same thing with "Beneath the Mask". It's on CZcams, but some idiot decided to monetize it, so it's full of ads.
Amazing
Thank you for this album, ❤
Thanks for posting this album it is on none of the streaming services like many other albums by Chick. I love the Space composition, combination of the bass that is almost haunting and the sax / guitar / keyboard exchanges.
The only Elektric band album that's on Apple Music is To The Stars.. I already own them all but I wish I could play them on there.. I don't get it.
Thank you so much for posting this!!! This is real gold!
sure! thanks for checking this great music out
BRUTALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
Thank you much. One of the best albums ever. Sadly it's not available on Spotify, and I no longer have a hard copy.
I have a CD, but I don't longer possess any working cd player :D
CDs are available in good condition for around 20 dollars online
One heck of an album they've put together boy i'll tell ya sheesh
Um dos melhores álbuns que já ouvir
RIP legend
Absolutely fabulous jeeah!
Cze!!!
Loved Gary Novak.. Saw a video or two of him playing> superb improv and fluid touch. Actually rivals any drummer Chick used.
debateable🙂
Superb!
saw this lineup back in the day. Gary Novak was fierce!
It's a veary gréât musics : if i have good memory the second LP of Chick Coréa was "Inside out" ; so thanks a lot for posting this (line up ; i think)

Two live concert favourites on this album - Blue Miles and CTA.
👏🏾👏🏾
Most tasteful bass playing ever!
Been looking for this CTA version, thanks kind sir.
Is there one without that song?
Love it!
1st time hearing this! W O W !
The bass on this is huge!
Killin' album!!!
supercool masterful
give me an electronic drum kid with paint the world settings, and ill never change it
Fantastico !
Coisa linda!
chic,so melodic
Mike Miller in top shape
Quite underrated, huh? Well, maybe due to the previous axemen in the band were Scott Henderson and Frank Gambale…but he’s so melodic, so “in the right place”, isn’t he?
Also guitarist Carlos Rios is in Chick Corea Elektric Band first album@@alfbarroso
Please upload Light Years and Eye of the Beholder, they can't be found on it's entirety on CZcams.
R.I.P Chick
😍
❤️
Honk if you own the transcription book to this album!

Paint the World and Inside Out are two of most par-excellent CCEB albums for me.
And don't forget "Eye of the Beholder" - my favorite :-)

Why is the last composition of this album - Reprise - cut off in the middle?
I know this is gonna get clowned lol but Spanish Sketch reminds me of The Ytse Jam by DT
My gosh, wath a album...
The "final frontier" track it's not on my paint the world cd. Is that a bonus track somehow released somewhere else?
It was on the japanese (?) CD. My version has it
bom bacarai, q isso

Foda!

Why was this removed from Spotify... Disappointed
Liquid music 😒

'I'm a, huge chick Corea fan but these are just terrible compositions
The beauty of art! It's subjectivity.
@Marty Lemons ‘I’m a, huge chick Corea fan but these are just terrible comment
Im a big fan of Chick, and I think its true. Composition wise, this isnt a great album. The only song really stands out here is Blue Miles. I could be wrong though. Never understood why Chick parted ways with Patitucci and Weckl, they co wrote and co produced the previous album, which was amazing all the way. Every song was amazing.
I like the combination of your last name and comment
@@ArturoVillarrealJAZZ Well I know Weckl wanted to move on and I think Chick might have told him it was time for him to do so if I remember correctly. I am not sure why John left and I doubt let go but I could be wrong there.
does anyone understand what the album cover means?
