"How'd the handle all the chaos?" Honestly, they embraced it, and that's one of the parts that worked the best. The interactions between the characters felt chaotically genuine.

The lead writer on this one is not only a big D&D fan, he's a huge fan of Critical Role. He talks about it in the commentary for this trailer and said he wanted to work in even more Critical Role references.
Plus all the catchphrases were there, "how do you want to do this ?", "is it thursday yet ?" (yeah ok they revamped that one a little, still a magnificent reference ^^)

I'm still not over the fact that one spiderman actually died in that movie
Right?! Like normally spiderman getting killed in a spiderman movie wouldnt be received well and would mean the end of the movie because you can't have a movie without it's main character. Doing it in a movie with spider people from across the multi verse was brilliant. They made us feel that pain and impact in the short time we knew perfect Peter perhaps because we automatically connect him with how much we already love Peter Parker and then we got to meet all the other spider people including getting to see miles become spiderman and it didn't take away from the importance of that death at all
But it oddly fiting in this movie because it is cannon to the ultimate universe.

Into the Spider-Verse is the most surprised I have ever been with a movie. I figured it was going to be okay, it seemed like an inoffensive animated movie. I really, really was not expecting it to be so incredible. Jaw dropping, ever part of it. A movie with a strong message that doesn't get lost up its sphincter, great action, amazing visuals, hilarious and just has the guts to go with the most insane wacky story.

Camilo Rojo IF that’s the joke (and that’s a big if) the joke sucked and it didn’t land. Saying it was a joke doesn’t shield them from criticism. It was painful to hear and ruined the rest of the video for me.
How did I miss this? For that matter, how did I not recognize Felicia's voice until I heard the instantly recognizable dulcet tones of Matt Mercer? Very cool concept and cool choices of guest stars, one of my favorite Honest Trailers to date.

you realize how perfect this movie was, when no major flaw was pointed by screen junkies
That's because they chose to focus on a gimmick, rather than some of its flaws (like how three of the six spidies (and half the villains) served essentially no purpose. Or how Ultimate versions of villains are pretty freaking lame compared to their standard counterparts. Mind you, still a good movie, and nothing wrong with doing a trailer that is something different than the norm, from time to time.
@@Axterix13 I don't feel like either of those two are flaws. They don't hurt the movie in any way. I thought that spider ham was good on paper but didn't seem to fit right and half his jokes didn't really land, but as far as the villians I had no problem. In any other film they would have just been generic henchmen anyway, so making them powered people from the comics at least makes the fight scenes more interesting. And the alternate versions instead of the mainline keep you guessing and allowed for the doc ock twist.
Instead, the comments section decided to only focus on one major flaw in the Honest Trailer itself.

It’s different, to a fault. After watching this movie, I really have no anticipation for these new MCU Spidey movies. I just feel they’ll be a step down compared to what Spider-verse accomplished with the character.

John Long Well, there’s a difference to it. There’s a lot you can accomplish with animation that you can’t do in love action. The best way to come at it is to anticipate both movies in separate, unique ways.
