There are Indians from India, Parkistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, South India. Some schools still teach Hindi, Urdu, Tamil etc. All Indians speak Hindi (Fiji Hindi). A lot of them have migrated to New Zealand, Australia, America and Canada after the 1987 coup.

All Fiji Indians should visit Chandigarh for any treatment . Chandigarh has the best facilities in the government hospitals at very reasonable rates . There are also arrangements for staying at genuine rates.

If you had stayed longer , you would have started talking in Fiji hindi too , You should have visited the village side too, would have been more interesting
Coincidentally Tourvashu again(after PNG) kept his feet on country that too had a notorious cannibalistic past .
But it was not that vehement and widespread unlike PNG . But there were plenty of tribes which performed ritualistic practices through cannibalism or sometimes just for stomach-filling only .
Remark : I flabbergast seeing that the CDs are still in vogue in Fiji . But Indians lost CDs to Bluetooth speakers .
