Somehow the army keeps getting ‘surprised’ every time and we are behind tactically in every aspect, yet we try to fix the blame on the government. They get a free pass. The government does as it is told with respect to strategic inputs locally. There should be more scrutiny on repeated mistakes and always being one step behind the curve. Criticise the govt on policies, but being unprepared every time, heads need to roll on senior levels of the army.

An army man is = govt employee Army general is = govt employee . Hon'ble president is head of armed forces. But The prime minister of India is the head of government of the Republic of India. Executive authority is vested in the prime minister and his chosen Council of Ministers, despite the president of India being the nominal head of the executive.
President is only rubber stamp authority in respect of Defense matters. Only Prime Minister and Army Chief with council of ministers are the decision makers.
Good analysis. The point is the two countries, India and Pakistan should realise the facts and give rights to the Kashmiri people so that both of them as well as kashmiris live in peace and move forward in the region instead of living like enemies. The government does as it is told with respect to strategic inputs locally. There should be more scrutiny on repeated mistakes and always being one step behind the curve. Criticise the govt on policies, but being unprepared every time, heads need to roll on senior levels of the army.
