@rocker100991, if you wanna learn about scales look up rustys fretboard autopsy. there you can learn all about the church modes (used in classical music, thrash metal, metal, jazz,...) and how to use it when playing and improvising. regarding speed, the most helpful thing i've found so far are the 3 articles of tom hess called "how to practice for maximum speed" part 1,2,3. just google it ;)
ugh ive spent about a month learning one small section of this and i was quite chuffed with the progress... thinking the speed was getting there. but no upon checking this video im thinking i should stick with the dave gilmour as my horizon of guitar playing possibilities
I think alot of it had to do with where it was made/how it was made, i believe the white rc7 was Korean (not 100% sure) and the 2000+ one was made in U.S.A. (don't quote me once again not 100% sure lol), and it went under far better construction etc.
