Connect Insta360 X3 To Cardo Packtalk Bold (Distorted Sound)

- The sound is badly distorted in the recording.
The headphones do not need to be on after the Bluetooth connection is on between the X3 and the Packtalk Bold.

Unfortunately the Packtalk Black has a previous version of Bluetooth integrated, you need the Edge or Neo to use with an Insta360x3 … I only found this out AFTER buying the Black myself for the JBL speaker upgrade. It sucks now I need to buy an Edge
Personally, I'm disappointed with Edge that the device has such good noise filtering that only speech is transmitted to the camera. All engine sounds and etc. are cut out.
You cannot connect another sound source at the same time, not even a wired one. I have not managed to synchronize the sound recorded with another sound source properly with a few programs that I have tried. (Davinci resolve and Filmora).The sound is not clear enough, which is produced when riding a bike.
I've tried turning off noise cancellation in the settings, but no change is noticeable at all.😤
I successfully connected my freecom x4 and have just had a brief mic test where it seemed to cut out, will have to do some more fiddling.

@@SandyToesDetecting I have managed to connect X3 with Freedconn FX & Fodsport M1-S Plus intercom devices. I haven't been able to test other devices. There was a bad background noise problem with FX, but it connects without any problems. It could just be a faulty device.
Fodsport M1-S Plus connects without problems and there are no problems with the sound.
Both FX and M1-S Plus work well with X3 only as a "microphone",
if connected to the phone or with the intercom to other helmet phones, the sound is no longer transmitted to the X3 camera at all. The connection remains on, but the sound is not transmitted.
With the M1-S Plus, the Garmin navigator's voice guidance causes a 20s break in the sound transmission until it returns to normal.
The attachment of the M1-S Plus device to its own bracket does not seem very reliable.
Probably most "Chinese" intercom devices work with X3🤔
According to the information I have received, the Cardo Pactalk Edge will connect with the X3 the first time using the same trick as with the Bold model. Sound in normal without distortion.
DMC connections do not block the transmission of sound to the camera, but only your own speech is transmitted to the camera, not the entire group conversation.
I now have this information from Pactalk Edge. I'll probably be able to test the device in a few weeks, so I'll know better after that.

@@SandyToesDetecting I have been able to test the Cardo Pactalk Edge device with the X3 camera and it works!
The first connection must be done in the same way as with Bold.
By connecting in two different ways, you only get either your own voice transmitted by the camera or the whole group's conversation from the DMC group. (At least Bold connected with Edge worked) So it looks really good now.🎉
I'll make a video about the different ways to connect when I have time.
