More than a decade after the show ended and people are still watching, rewatching, and discussing. James was too humble to say this, but he was a large reason this show reached the levels it did. It’s become a cultural cornerstone and will continue to be discussed in the future like all great works of art.

@Glennandrews I'm healthy as fuck, only 38 and had a massive stroke last year. Life is a tricky little fucker. No way I'm making it to 50. In all fairness I did and do drink and smoke a little but not much. A few times each new season, Autumn is my favorite.

Hi last movie he made came out after he died. It was really good. It's called The Drop. Wished he'd survived his health issues because he's just one of those really good actors that don't come along too often.

Hearing James speak with his non regional diction is so fascinating, when growing up hearing Tony all the time. I grew up watching The Sopranos with my family in our Long Island home...such a sentiment The Sopranos has become...this show (and all of the cast and crew) will forever remain in a warm, and surreal place in my heart, comforted with great nostalgia.
He barely lived into middle-age, let alone old-age, yet James has left behind such an incredible body of work and a general masterclass in incredible acting. It's sad he wasn't around longer, but awesome he was around at all.
I watched the entire series for the 5th time since its release, and noticed so many character quirks I never noticed before. Such a masterful acting performance!

Its an art that the brain has honed over time to pull the wool over our own eyes but keep a third eye in the mind free to see the truth, that part is always there and knows immediately what you're going to do far before you do. It knows when you're lying to others and doesn't ever let you fully forget the truth, this is why you forget lies as time goes on but never the truth. It is at peace with death and knows you need to be fooled sometimes be happy, so it stays silent and smiles along with you as your dreams are fill with passed loved ones and pets and lets you fill your head with bittersweet fantasies, Rest in Peace James, you will never be forgotten.

Gandolfini was a BRILLIANT actor. He completely inhabited every role, right down to the slightest of facial expressions. Just unbelievable.

I just fell in love with James Gandolfini in the role of Tony Soprano. In real life he was a gentle, beautiful, humble man who died way too soon. He had so much more to offer. RIP James.

My heart broke when he said I'll survive, and laughed as he looked away... Theres a part of the subconscious mind that isn't convinced by the lies we tell ourselves. Its an art that the brain has honed over time to pull the wool over our own eyes but keep a third eye in the mind free to see the truth, that part is always there and knows immediately what you're going to do far before you do. It knows when you're lying to others and doesn't ever let you fully forget the truth, this is why you forget lies as time goes on but never the truth. It is at peace with death and knows you need to be fooled sometimes be happy, so it stays silent and smiles along with you as your dreams are fill with passed loved ones and pets and lets you fill your head with bittersweet fantasies, Rest in Peace James, you will never be forgotten.

It's very sad and it hits deep in the heart when he 1.16 in gets the question "Will you survive...?". Gandolfini then asks: "You mean me, or Tony Soprano?" I will definitely survive but Tony ". One of the greatest actors and persons this world has ever seen. RIP!
