I had an attorney friend in NYC who was so enraged by wrongful incarcerations that she left her big monied... high powered Wall Street job, rolled up her sleeves and became one of the Innocence Project legal staff down South somewhere. Hardly a day passes that a story like this does not come across her desk, and she gets to work uncovering and helping to investigate and, exonerate the people in jail for no reason, except mistakes in the justice process...
HOW UNFAIR!! How can a whole State make such a mistake for not even 5-10 but 36 years taken away from this brother? They should all be deeply ashamed of themselves and i hope karma catches up to everyone responsible for this false conviction. The award should be in MILLIONS!!!! but no money is enough to even compensate the passage of time.

250,000 lump sum and 400,000 ain’t enough. You can barely buy a house with that.
