- In this video I flipped the shocks on my 2021 Can-Am Maverick X3 XDS Turbo RR to see if there is any significant impact on the suspension performance and address the long asked question "Do I need to cut the plastics?"

You have the ds model. It's worse on the rs model. The longer arms leans the shocks more.
Yeah. Mine run like hell on the plastic at full squish. Looks sick though. 😂
I have the same exact SxS Xds turbo RR I ordered it from the factory it came with shock reservoirs out and it clears no issues at all
That's interesting.
It clears under normal use yes but as soon and you running hard and it's fully compress in it hits the plastic
What about with smart shocks?
Is the fox tune good for the 2023 maverick ds turbo
My shocks have the 1-2-3 selectors on them. All the videos I see have these shocks. Can I flip mine with those adjuster knobs?
Yes. You can flip it the exact same way.
Once you swap the shocks around, are the top mounts of the shock supposed tobe loose even when tightened? I’m maxed out on tightening at the top and the shock moves? Is this normal?
Yes they should be able to move.
Hello! We have a can am x3 rearview mirror, and we are now looking for someone to test it for us. Are you interested?
Yes!
lol that would never make the suspension ride different.
Awesome Video. 🫡
i saw your Jeep at Costco
Does yours have that wire at the bottom of shocks.
No. You probably have smart shocks.
@@MohawkDaveOffRoad yeah just thought you had them too, imwonder If I can just disconnect it so that I can flip my shocks.
@@filitamayo it can be done.
@@MohawkDaveOffRoad thanks bud . Thanks for sharing your videos.
The only reason for the shock flip is so it will clear certain aftermarket shock tower braces, there is no added performance benefits.
🤦♂️
