Squaw Valley Tram Accident - April 15, 1978

KCRA-TV news footage of the Squaw Valley tram accident on April 15, 1978, that killed four people and injured over 30 others. Includes interviews with survivors at the hospital and Squaw Valley owner Alex Cushing. Also includes footage of the tram operating in January of 1979, on the first day it was put back into service after the accident. An official explanation of the event has never been released.
