Reason why i love signduo is cus there real.. no fakeness.. no drama.. just love
So true.
All love... one love!
Ikr the most real couple on youtube no fakeness ❤️ ❤️❤️
Right 💖
It’s because they don’t do rude prank videos and they give each other respect
Admit it, java is the main star in this channel.
Agree! 🤣
@@SignDuoChannel It's Java's world and we are all just living in it haha! Love y'all!
Stan Java!
@@SignDuoChannel I think Java needs more fattening up too !!!!
She does not look like she is being fed enough, fore her size!!!
Give her more human nutritiously made meals, and absolutely offer her everything that you eat!!
I know this works because love raised generations of family dogs , very healthily !!!!!!
No it was the duck lol
dude i’ve never seen a couple be so in love and supportive of one another 🥺 this is so different from other media relationships
This is what I'd call true love.in thick and thin being together ❤️
Exactly like they are truly what they are there is so much fakness with these other relationship youtuber (no shade just facts) and it really does seem like their relationship is working for both of them instead of it being one sided
Media couples are fake.
Don't look up to media couples because they aren't real relationships. Perfect on the outside, horrible on the inside.
This couple is great though. I don't think they do anything with the sole intention of getting views and notoriety
Ryan was definitely nervous before surgery. You could see him signing super fast like how hearing people talk fast when nervous. Very interesting. Glad he's feeling better
Hahhaha it’s crazy that you noticed! I was definitely nervous lol
@@SignDuoChannel I was trying to understand, as I usually only need to glance at the captions, but I was like "Wow, he's moving so fast I need to read the captions"
This is the most adorable couple on youtube. You know when love a person because of their personality and when you truely love their soul no matter what difficulties you face you just overcome everything together. I am just happy to watch your videos.

You guys inspire me so much. I've actually started learning SASL because of you guys and I'm enjoying it so much! Love from South Africa🇿🇦🤟🇿🇦
That's amazing! SASL and ASL share some signs and the alphabet. Thanks! Sending love right back!
I'm also learning SASL
same
Samesieees but it is hard because how do you practice sign language when you have no one to speak to in sign language lol
one day I'm going to make music for deaf. idk how. idk if it's ever been done before but I love music so much and these guys inspire me so much I want to make it happen
"It hurts like a ✋🏾-"
😅
There are a lot of things to consider during the surgery for the deaf that I wouldn’t have thought of. I’m sure that had to be a bit nerve racking for you, Ryan. I’m really glad Ellen was able to be there and that the staff was polite and accommodating. I’m glad you got this all over with and so t have to worry about it anymore. I hope you’re fully recovered by now and back to normal.
I had a dream about a date we went on.. That was soooo cuuute
Ummm what?
@@bigdawg2011 10:29 turn on captions
@@bigdawg2011 Ryan said that. Not this person lol
I wonder what drugs they gave him because with propofol you don't dream. It feels like you are asleep 10seconds max. I'll have to Google what they use for this surgery because it's got me curious.
@@stephanieann6622 you got me curious now lol,did you find out what drug they used?
Omg at 14:28 the caption says “hangry” and I really hope that was on purpose because LOL I can totally relate to being hangry 🤣🤣🤣
randommonkeyy Ellen always gets hangry. They joke about it all the time. 😁
randommonkeyy it was on purpose 😅😂 I signed hungry-angry
Sign Duo Hahahaha I love that. You guys just cheer me up to no end.
it’s the captions for the dog that does it for me. 😂😆😂 LMAO!
Seeing Ellen being all the way by his side melts my heart. ❤️
14:56 I was like, just because you're a guy? That's dumb lol
Then you said you just need captions on 🤦 I completely forgot you're deaf
😂😂😂😂😂
I kind of thought the same thing. Because he was a guy then I remembered
@@SignDuoChannel I have no captions, and need to know what you have to say !!!!!
The fact that they’re called Sign Duo and they sign the whole video makes it funnier 😂
@@gathsfamily2866 - You have to turn on the captions. If you're on a computer, click the CC button under the video. (On a phone, I think you tap the 3 dots & it will give you an option for captions, but I don't watch on a phone much, so I'm not sure.)
I am so happy I just got my American sign language book and my classes start on Monday. I literally can’t wait 😊
sweeeet!
definitely will not skip ads for this cause i really want to help you guys pay the hospital bills and i'm so happy that ryan is recovering well from his surgery. more to you guys! love lots 😌
Thank u!
As someone who's worked in childcare/with kids, I've known a couple signs, but not many. I'm a Floridian/Costa Rican, and I've also lived in Europe, so I can survive around romantic and germanic languages, but I've never had a community of people who sign! The great thing about working in a library is that you can meet a diverse range of people, but while we still have to maintain sanitary limitations towards allowing people in, I've been really feeling the need to learn something to break up the monotony of working in a public library sans public. One of my coworkers is deaf, and we have known each other for a while, but we only recently have had overlapping shifts. Not all of us have clear masks, so using Live Transcribe has been great, but I signed "L" in conversation to her today and she then taught me the sign "help." With so little exposure, signing doesn't come super naturally to me, but I've been watching a lot of your videos recently and they make a huge difference for me! Training myself to pay active attention to body language details, how signs look, and the rhythm & flow of saying things while being aware that I can't be heard (or have my lips read) are all things your videos are helping me to practice. Thank you!
I am really glad that you went to a hospital where they were good with accommodating your needs! As lot of places don’t do that, and everyone there seemed really nice
I’m scared of needles too 😖 I could also understand the anxiety of whether or not you’d be around people who can understand you for any length of time! I’m glad Ellen got to be there and that the surgery went well 💖
Flying Wookie thank u! Glad I had her around to keep my spirits up. Almost went crazy having to be lazy and rest for a week😅 lol
So happy Ryan is doing okay 🥰 was so worried for him glad that angel 👼Ellen is nearby ❤️
It’s lucky how they found each other or else none of this good content would be here. Love ya :)
No wonder he was nervous! I’ve had surgery myself! Happy recovery!
Keep the scruff! Definitely keep the scruff!
I was promised a tall, weird duck with no wings, and I received a tall, weird duck with no wings. ★★★★★

Missed you guys! So glad that ryan’s surgery went well 😊❤️ You guys inspired me to learn ASL to become an interpreter so I’ve been rewatching your videos for the past few months and taking classes❤️❤️
That's awesome. Hope you are doing well 😊!
Who else loves how he clicks his mouth while he does language
A had a small surgery almost 2years ago, no one told me days 2 and 3 are way worse than first day. Doctor didn’t give me any special pain killers, she said it hurts a bit but not much. Yeah, right. I felt ill because of the pain.
Don’t be afraid to ask for help :)) once on medicine, I was great! 5 days later, almost as new
I’m going to be taking a sign language academy for high school to just learn it, I was told schools don’t normally do that, it’s going to be my first year in high school, of course online but still, I always found sign language cool, maybe this channel will help me learn and remember
Ryan is a trooper ‼ I've never had a major surgery before. The only thing remotely close was having my wisdom teeth removed and I was a BABY about the pain. Whether Ryan was being nonchalant to keep Ellen from worrying or just wasn't bothered in general is impressive either way 🙌🏻 sending healing vibes your way! Love yalls channel all the way from Texas! 💘
Glad Ryan is recovering well and Ellen you definitely are the MVP. You both are an inspiration.
Ryan's experience with the hernia surgery actually reminds me a lot of the recovery experience I had after my gallbladder surgery. It is really tough to get up on your own after an abdominal surgery. After mine if I had to, I resorted to kind of rolling off my couch onto all fours on the floor, and getting up from that position, since I didn't need to contract my abs to haul myself into a sitting position doing it that way. But having someone to help you is definitely useful. Glad your recovery went well, Ryan! And props to Ellen for how strong she is!
I love you soooo much sign duo ❤️❤️❤️ lots of love from Turkey 🇹🇷
Aww that part where you got him food, the amount of times he thanked you was so darn cute hahaha.
That is very brave of you to share such a personal event. Thank you for the thought you put into these educational (and fun!) videos.
Your vloggs are so so different it's just great fun watching them - keep up the good work. 👍

So happy to see Ryan's surgery went so well and he is on the mend. I have been watching older videos and Ryan has come a very long way with his weight loss. Good job and keep up the good work.

One thing I love about SignDuo is how supportive you are of each other.
I loved all of your videos and I support you guys fully😊😊
I love you guys! Ellen did a great job at interpreting and helping Ryan! I do a lot of medical interpreting for my parents so I understand what Ellen did. Great job to Ellen for helping and Ryan being a trooper and making it through! Hope you both are doing well 😊🤟

Glad your on the road to recovery just be careful for around two weeks no heavy lifting. I also like snap on tools they're the best. Liked your rim screen saver also. Hope Java did not jump to much from excitement to see her daddy again. Hugs from Italia
Ellen you are awesome! You took ASL as a passion for the man you love! I love ASL as a passion as well from a childhood experience! Ryan you are so chill and let it be known deaf people can do anything hearing people can! Can't forget about Java and how cute she is!!!!
💜💜💜. Loved seeing ryan so much on camera. Glad everything went well. Thank you for sharing your lives.

Love from the philippines🇵🇭🤟🇵🇭❤
Greetings from Brazil, i wanna be your friend xD u both look so nice people! i found this channel yesterday and it`s nice. someday i want to learn sign language to try to understand more about other perspective of life and of corse to talk and know others people. i hope the best for you recovery! i think it`s weird how we connect in some way with strangers from another country talking about day to day, difficulties or whatever. yeah i don`t know it`s cool! my english is a little bit flawed, i read better than i listen, so your videos are perfect because have captions =). when Ellen talks is even better i can practice both!! thank u! byeee
Glad your surgery went well and thank you for sharing!
Ugh, YESSSSS I love learning new sign language with sign duo. It really is great!
So glad it went well Ryan. You and Ellen are the cuties sweetest couple. So glad you found eachother💕 like the scruff
When you commented about the abdominal muscles with getting up, I totally remember how hard it was to move when I had my gallbladder surgery; they cut in the bellybutton, two spots on your side, and then another in like, middle-ish area of your sternum. I had to have people help me up the same way, and I had SOOOOooo many pillows.
Glad the surgery went well for you!
That sounds painful. Did you have difficulties with your digestive system after gallbladdrr removal?. I mean can a person live completely normally after the surgery? Like did you need to avoid certain kind if food for life or something?
@@dmaya3368 had mine out years ago but before the surgery I spoke to many people and it seems different for everyone. one lady could not tolerate alcohol, another cannot tolerate fats etc Myself it took a while to get back to eating normally but with some changes, not sure if they are from gall bladder removal or ageing :) The surgeon will most likely say life will be normal afterwards but it doesn't seem to be this way for some and perfectly the same for others. Bodies can be weird but I have not come across anyone who has said life and their diet after removal is in any way bad.
@@sandieM27 same. I had mine out about a year and a half ago. That first week or two was rough as far as the diet goes, but I am now back to my normal diet without issue. I guess I am one of the lucky ones, but I did have an allergic reaction to the glue they used. I guess I won't be getting that if I have another surgery. I am so glad I had it done, though because I was getting gall bladder attacks every week and it was terrifying.
Swift and healthy recovery my friend! Many blessings to you and ellen and puppers 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Absolutely loved the video thanks for sharing your lives a little :)
Hi Ryan & Ellen & Java! Hope you’re all staying safe! Wanted to first tell you how much I enjoy watching your videos. I am an oral cancer patient of 27 years- first diagnosed at the age of 21. I’m treating for my 7th recurrence& over the past 4 years been losing my ability to speak -people assume I am deaf, One of the complications of my oral cancer has caused this. Without getting too personal I’m in the process of learning ASL online classes at FAU and a private tutor. So my question for you Ryan, how do you deal with being out in public when the person you are trying to communicate with does not know ASL? This is all knew to me and very difficult. People do not understand me when I speak so I’m rushing to learn sign language BUT when I learn, who will understand me? My family is not willing to learn besides my sister. Do you bring a pad and pencil or use your phone ? That’s what I’m doing now but I sense people get frustrated with me. It’s a lot. I have recently discovered your videos and wanted to also thank you both! They’re very helpful!
Take care & be safe!
Danielle G.
I really appreciated this video since I will possibly be working in a hospital soon so it was awesome to see how accomodating the nurses and doctors were. Glad you are feeling better!
Thanks Macy!
Super sweet
I loved this video. You all are so fortunate to have each other.
Love your videos 🤟
Omg 😱 my faves finally 💙❤️💚
Binging old videos 🦋 you guys made me smile so much :)
Good to see his recovery and to know that they did a good job with accommodations! Glad he's getting/gotten better.
Ryan is such a dork and you’re such a good couple 😂
You can tell that you haven't been around deaf people! Why do you say that Ryan is a dork! This is how deaf people articulate, this is how they express themselves, with facial expressions! Deaf people are the most down-to-earth people you will ever meet.
@@susiemuirhead561 I don’t think they were referring to his facial expressions...Ryan was being silly and joking around, that’s all. It was more of a compliment than anything.
Question for Ryan: how do you get someone’s attention when they aren’t looking at you, like if you’re both watching a movie across the room from each other but you want to talk about something? Do you wait for them to look at you or clap or something? Is their etiquette in these scenarios or is it just different based on who you are with?
I'm not Ryan, but I'm deaf. The common way most Deaf people like it to wave your hand in front of them or tap them on the shoulder. Of course don't like...death grip them. Just flap your hand a bit within their line of sight.
Or throw light soft thing at them ha! (With a very reasonable throw. Haha)
Probably a bit late, but if I'm at home and want to get my deaf parents attention I either stomp on the floor and they pick up on the vibration, wave my arms around like crazy person and hope they see me out of the corner of their eye or throw something across their line of sight. Try to avoid the last one though because my mum's hearing dog will try to steal whatever I throw
In some case, Ryan is deaf and his gf is hearing, he can use his voice to get Ellen’s attention. Or he can make any funny voice that can catch her attention. I’m deaf, when I need someone attention, I can call mom, my sister by her name and someone by their name or “yell hey” to scare them (sometime I did it on purpose, I’ll admit 😉) it’s not that hard.
You two just radiate love ❤️
I love your dog! And great job on the video
