Alan Roach Denver International Airport Saga

In late 2017, Denver International Airport sought to replace my voice on the concourse trains (since 2006) after mistakenly assuming I no longer lived in Denver after accepting a job with the Minnesota Vikings. The airport invited only radio and TV personalities to take part in a public vote to become the new voice of the DIA train. 1) I continue to live in Denver, 29 years now. 2) Being the voice that welcomes millions to Denver is a tremendous honor and should mean more than a media-celebrity driven publicity stunt. This is my story as told mostly by Kyle Clark on Next, a news program on KUSA TV in Denver.
