Alan Roach is an icon here in Denver. Serving the Broncos, Rockies, Avs for so many years, was sad when he went to the Vikings a couple years back. He really brought the energy at Mile High!
Faxxxx
We need to get him back at mile high
He’s my uncle
Rapids too
God is coming soon very soon Repent.
This channel doesn't disappoint.
We need this guy in not only the NFL hall of Fame but all major sports he did it all.
as a vikings fan, I sure do enjoy hearing his voice on sundays. makes it even better that he's a lifelong vikings fan
I'll never forget the moment that my dad realized the Viking's announcer, the Avs' announcer, and the Rockies' announcer, was the same person; he was a fan of all of them, as am I.
He was also the Broncos announcer, want back to Minnesota so he could call super bowls again. Since they'll never make it
@@TheConvertable50 🥱
Never forget this voice after hearing the starting lineups at the Stanley cup 2001 being announced when in was 7..
Easily the most underrated voice in sports!
its nice knowing who he was, but knowing he’s a Vikings fan too that gives me too much enjoyment
Even as a Packers fan, I do like hearing his voice at so many occasions.
idky but i kept thinking of Principal Skinner the whole time. 🤟🏾🤣👍🏽
An epic voice, right up there with Morgan Freeman.
My Granny sounds just like him, she's a 70 year chain smoker.
He's the Vin Scully of PA.
He is the very best announcer that has ever talked in a microphone
Rockies games aren't the same when he's not there. His voice on the train at Denver International Airport is the best part of that place too.
Watching this video for the first time I had a genuine epiphany. A co-worker in Des Moines, Iowa asked me if I'd heard of Alan Roach, who had apparently worked in radio in our area in years past, and I had to admit I didn't know the name. However, Kelly O'Shea absolutely strikes a cord! Once upon a time that guy hired me! As a rock deejay at KKEZ in Fort Dodge in 1987. Kelly did a short stint as program director there, after the previous PD, "Jimmy Don Davis," left for greener fields. I actually possess a clip of Kelly making a cameo appearance at a remote broadcast from a bar called Gold Dust Lounge. He obviously had the "pipes" for the gig. Very cool blast from the past!
Awesome story
This guy is so humble
He’s an icon in football much like John Facenda, and Pat Summerall.
1:19 most correct statement in the name of science
I’m a Vikings fan, but longtime Yankees Stadium announcer Bob Sheppard is the best PA voice of all time
He will always be ours here in Denver
Legend.
I love this guys voice
I never knew this about Alan Roach. Awesome video.
Awesome Skol Vikes!
Alan Roach to replace Joe Buck
Joe Buck isn't even close to being bad at what he does. Not liking him is subjective but you don't get to be the voice of the World Series and Superbowl for nearly 30 years from being a shitty play by play guy
@@1neOfN0ne You do when your father is Jack Buck
@@mangomangay7747 ok yeah so Fox has had Joe Buck calling the biggest sporting events of the year on their network because he's the son of a guy who's not only been dead for over 20 years, but when he was alive, never had any affiliation with Fox whatsoever...
Yeah that makes total sense 🥴
BABABOOEY! *Alan Roach voice*
Kelly Burnham has a great ring to it!
I've heard him call AVS games and Rockies games. Wish I could have heard him call Broncos games
The Minnesota vikings have both Alan Roach and Paul Alan for announcers....dang
Great video
I would love to be a stadium PA announcer one day. I’d like to meet him and figure out how I can get a job as a stadium PA announcer, that would be awesome.
It is my dream to be a public address announcer for canvas stadium. That's hidden Fort Collins at Colorado State university's campus. Ever since the first time I heard his voice, I was like "damn. Damn I want to do that"
Do you remember John Facenda? He was voice of NFL Films before Alan. Talk about epic voices.
He can do some games for the 2026 World Cup
Kinda cool
Hes the madden guy
This will be me one day…literally…
WWE Needs to Hire to Him!!!
I heard him at the rapids game
I'm pissed!
My voice is as good as his or better!!!!! I will prove it to the world 1 way or another
Ted Williams has competition
See ya tomorrow! Vikings vs Detroit!
Aaaaaaaaavalanche goal scored by number 19 joeeeeeeeeeee sakic
Sounds like Capt. Sully
is this what they used at the college games as well?
The greatest is Bob Sheppard and then there's everyone else
Amen, his voice wasn’t known as “The Voice of God” for nothing
I wanna be him for my career
Pretty freaking cool
He sounds like the original narrator gor nfl films
For
He sounds closer to Harry Kalas than John "God" Facenda
I challenge thee to a voice offfffffffff
Ill meet you anywhere anytime
That not Kelly Burnham in russian they botched his name spelling it wrong
He kind of sounds like Howard stern
6:16 illuminati confirmed
He's no Buffer,
but he cool.

“Greatest comeback” bc the Falcons kept choking
Don't all comebacks involve one team choking by definition?
@@NRF787 no one chokes like Atlanta
@@Michaelengelmann Yeah, that doesn't address your first point.
@@NRF787 it’s a joke😩🤦🏽♂️
@@Michaelengelmann Ok, but I've seen a lot of people try to discredit a team's comeback by saying it was only because the other team choked.
Other than Bob Sheppard he’s the greatest PA announcer
Not. Remotely. Close. There's more to this than having a deep voice. It's subjective but as far as range, total talent and things there are better. Roach has the most connections.
I’m saying he’s the best because he’s iconic on an international and global level.
