  • In this tutorial, Isadora master Ryan Webber will show you how to build a moving "line segment worm" utilizing a live list of sequential data. You will learn how to construct data structures which store a short history of values that you will use to trace movements to the stage using line segments. You will be introduced to the use of JSON in Isadora, and generative design using the power of User Actors.
This tutorial uses the currently Beta 'JSON Parser BETA' actor available on the TroikaTronix ADD-ONS Page: troikatronix.com/plugin/json-...
Also the tutorial references a JavaScript tutorial which may be of interest for exploration. support.troikatronix.com/supp...

Hi Ryan, I can't find the javascript actor, I installed the 3.0.9 beta Isadora 3. How can I get it? Thanks!

You might have happened upon a beta version which was missing the Javascript actor (due to it needing to be recompiled for M1 support). The latest build should have the actors you need.

It should be included with every release of Isadora. You can find it in the 'Controls' tool bin.
