how many scenes can i put? I have Isadora 3 (demo) and only let me insert 14 scenes, is this normal? Please it is urgent. THanks

can I projectiob map around letters, say a logo. I want a wand feature or a free hand tool. As I'm struggling to get this to work with complex shapes and lettering.

Is there a way to get a preview of the scenes you are editing in blind mode?

It's also worth noting that when you use the double-click > search method, rather than clicking on which Actor/Control you want in the list, you can use the arrow keys to select one then press the Enter key to immediately place it at the location where you double-clicked to open the Actor/Control search.

I used this app 13 years ago and it was an awesome experience which took me places. I used it combine projections with live performance. I once rendered a large eyeball that looked upon a crowd and the camera that was facing the crowd reflected in the eyeball - distorted by the curvature.

so if a 15ft active USB extender is the longest that the kinect can run from laptop, is that length considering the USB extender + the included usb kinect cable? I'm running a usb c to usb b 2.0 10ft cable. wondering if I can add more feet to it. thanks

Thank you for all the passion you put into this product. I used Isadora and a Kinect to motion control audio and video for my stage tech graduation project. Got so many compliments and I even put together the setup at the afterparty so my friends got to play around with it. Had loads of fun and couldn't have done it without the tutorials and guru sessions :)

I was working with Isadora since 2010 doing mostly Live-VJing for DJs and Musicians - the C-Years basically ended this activity. Those new features however might open some doors to bring me back... Thanks for your relentless work over the past 20 years.

Hello, if I use a trigger actor to send a trigger to the "visible" input of the movie player (sending "0" or "1" etc etc), there is a very noticeable latency for clip to start. What kind of command will fire a video clip with little or no latency? Thanks!

I'm new to Isadora, I am on a 4 day mapping and projection course provided by a theatre company called "Imitating the dog", who are using and promoting Isadora software, I have used Kinect tracking using MS software for a different utilisation, and interested in learning how I can use this in Isadora. thanks for the great tutorials.

This is incredibly exciting. So many of us stopped trying to do this kind of stuff years ago due to all of the many challenges involved. And then with the pandemic, many of us came back to it but were frustrated by the limitations within Zoom despite the new possibilities. This truly opens up so much potential. Can't wait to get into it.
