Description: In this "guru session", Isadora's creator Mark Coniglio will introduce you to IzzyMap, Isadora's built-in projection mapping tool. During this session designed for novice users and above, Mark will guide you through the entire projection mapping workflow: starting from the stage design, he'll show you prepare your video materials, to build the projection mapping "slices" in Izzy Map, and, as the final step, how to map those images onto objects in the physical space.
You'll be able to follow along even if you don't have a projector, but if you want to practice on the same surfaces used in this tutorial, you can download a kit from the the TroikaTronix forum post for this session.

WOW amazing insights again. Mark has created such a powerful tool set with the projection mapping features built into isadora. This video is a great insight into how to use these features and I have extra appreciation that he took the time to show an example workflow from content creation through to a finished fully mapped stage output.

Great tutorial - I never managed to really understand the principle of IzzyMap- such a powerful tool, I'm looking forward to do a project with an artist who does sculptures. Ill put some interesting video stuff on it ;-) Thank you Mark for providing this Guru-sessions. B.t.w.: I like your corona-haircut;-)

can I projectiob map around letters, say a logo. I want a wand feature or a free hand tool. As I'm struggling to get this to work with complex shapes and lettering.

Thank you so much for your tutorial. I believe if we could have small videos with the steps only would be great and time-consuming. A lot of people will use Isadora if there are small tips videos. For example this video I believe I could cut it down 10min video!
Thank you so much anyway. I was wondering how to get rid of the light coming out from a projector? So I did all this mapping but I still can have the projector lights in the area that I didn't map to it

Video black isn't true black, it still sends some light. To mask to true black you will need to physically block the light from the projector in some way.
