The thing about this Nora she is way more opened she doesn’t think less of herself, she doesn’t hide emotions and micro expressions and she doesn’t have plans for her plans, that’s all the things the previous Nora did in season 5 and tbh I like the Nora we have rn sooo much more!
however, i feel like season 5 nora is better due to the fact that she built a chemistry with barry and iris. In this season though, the nora we are given isnt the same one, so they dont share the same feelings for each other
Is it wierd that Barry and iris were just okay with Nora being back, like I'd imagine some PTSD from seeing their daughter die, so that Is strange, I still prefer Nora from the past because her story was more compelling, the daughter who grew up without a father, trained by father's nemesis, played with time travel, the new Nora had everything just be fine for her, there's no dynamic or intrigue in her character.... The showrunner are just playing her for that sweet sweet nostalgia otherwise, she'd be just one more annoying character

I like this Nora better. She used to be so childish but i like how insanely mature she is now. I like that Bart, the younger sibling, takes the immaturity that young Flash used to have during seasons 1-3 (or whenever he sees Thawne haha). I also think Bart is faster than Nora and maybe even Barry so that’s nice to see.
Yeah Impulse is a lot faster than Barry in the comics, hope they adapt that

This casting is AMAZING! Dem babies look JUST LIKE they parents. Nora is Iris with green eyes and Bart is Barry, dipped in toffee. You could tell me those are really their relatives irl and I'd be inclined to believe you.

Does anyone feel like they minimize Barry's experience all the time? He has one of the most sadistic origins in the DC universe and it's all because a guy was jealous of him. But every character either tells him to get over it or compares their situations when it's the furthest thing from the truth

But what was S1 focused on though? Barry...
There branching out from “The Flash” and that’s why I don’t like it. They’ve focused more on other characters than Barry and it’s fucking irritating. Hence, "The Flash’s Family and their problems with just a tiny bit of the Flash”

My one consistent complaint about Barry over the years has been he always makes these judgement calls about others not being allowed to go into battle because they're overly attached or emotional or whatever but he's constantly flying off the handle or letting his feelings blind him. Always feels hypocritically sanctimonious....
And then the team gets mad at him and then they do the same even worse

That’s what made me so upset about the Nora thing S5. He ALSO went to Thawne for help S2 after he discovered he killed his mom but he gets angry at Nora for the same thing...like it was so annoying. The consistency on this show is just ass.

It was hypocritical of Barry. Barry is the master at working with bad people if it means a better outcome. He should’ve understood where she was coming from more than anyone, but only Iris got it?
I’m more upset at that writing. Barry would’ve understood but the writers just wanted drama. They always do that to Barry’s character. For drama they make him forget everything he’s done in the past.

It was kinda like Nora was herself and Bart when she first showed up. She was hyper, quick to react and super down on herself. Now with Bart here, shes more focused, toned down and quick with a pep talk, like Papa Joe and Iris.
Bart seems to have the hyperness, quick to react/show off etc. He also has Barry's I'll risk it all for family/I gotta make the sacrifice play. Very cool to see this.
This Dude that plays Bart is a good actor. Should've started out the Season with those two.

I will say, the casting is top notch. He kinda looks like Barry and the actor does a great job at also seeming like Barry. Like the way he speaks and sounds really sells off that yes this is the son to the Barry Allen of this show. He's got the mannerisms down.
