Hi, I am new to your channel and glad I discovered it. I have been following all the high rollers selling their expensive products that THEY can afford. Thanks for remembering the home detailer working on personal cars! I have learned much more about products and detailing procedure by watching and listening to you! Thank you so much!
Great video Scott! Thanks for sharing my friend.
The best Super Clean video on youtube. Thanks man, going to Walmart right now to get some.
Great video just said I ask . What way would u go about if some one gets sick in a car how u find is best clean it and get rid of odour thanks .
Works great I see. Have you ever tried westlys bleach white, it works the same way, however you have to be careful on paint at full strength
I am glad you cleaned that rim as well, the cleaner actually cleaned the rim well while you cleaned the tire the first time.
Got my 2 1/2 gal jug. Ready to rock !
What do you dress the tire in after cleaning? To keep it shiny and clean
Hi Scott, any negative side affects with Super Degreaser on clear coated aluminum wheels?
Love your videos! Don't apologize for taking a long time to explain things. Also your review of Super Clean shows honesty. You probably don't get paid for this by Super Clean. Others who create these videos promote expensive "boutique" products and I feel that many of them are compensated for their promoting of those products. If you read this I would like you to comment about a question. I'm not a pro but want to do things right. Instead of mitts I use a special very soft brush to remove road scum. Meguiars sells some like mine but I got mine from walmart and it looks and feels like the Meguiars one. The bristles have spit ends and I keep it rinsed while using it. It seems to me the brush would have a better chance of not getting dirt embedded in it. Tell me your thoughts.
They say not to use the superclean on cracked old tires. After reading that I'm a bit weary and scared of trying them out :| ... I'm thinking of Optium Power Clean - advice?
Will it work on polished aluminum
Scott I gotta tell ya, my sister purchased a SUV and it was “hammered “ stains everywhere and the engine bay was nasty. Used Super Clean from bumper to bumper and 6 hours later looked like a showroom ready car! Thanks for the education!
Did u use it on leather by chance? Need to get some jeans dye out of cream learher seats....
the tire is super clean now. good job
So what's the difference between Super Clean and Purple Power? Can they both be used to remove wax and road grime from the entire car?
I love super clean Degreaser I actually use it myself
Have watched several of your reviews on cleaners etc. We can go back and forth from the beginning and end of the videos, but would be cool if you added a side by side picture of the before and after type of thing. Or clean half of the work area and leave the other half if easier or feasible. Anyways, just some ideas. Thanks
Very good video. We have that product in Canada but twice the price as you pay in USA. It is worth it anyway. Keep your video coming to us you are helping a lot of poeple.
Good morning Scott. That tire looks like it may have not been dressed before. What's your experience been with Super Clean when used on clients' tires that you've dressed repeatedly previously? Does Super Clean strip them just as well? Thanks in advance...
Put the 4:1 solution in a pump sprayer. no more squeezing. I find with aerosol cans my finger tip gets sore after awhile. with a pump you build pressure and can go awhile before having to pump again.
Love me some pump sprayers but most of the good ones aren't that cost effective unfortunately.
Tony Hyden it doesn’t eat the rubber gaskets inside the sprayer?
great sealer u r .. !!! thank you for the info !!! on my way to get SUPERCL3AN !!!
Hi Scott,
I'm presuming that you wouldn't want to use this in direct sunlight? The only reason why I ask is because I have a detail operation where I'm forced to wash cars outside.
Nothing prevents you from dumping the 32 oz bottle content into a 1 gallon container and then re-fill the bottle with a 4:1 dilution solution. In fact that is what i will do. I still have a lot of Meguiar's APC and Super Degreaser left, but you have completelly sold me on Super Clean and can't wait to use it ;)
Nice tips thanks
Used to be Castrol Super Clean. Cleans bathtubs as well lol
good video and product buddy tfs
Is this product safe on factory rims that came with the car? I have a Nissan Altima and was just wondering. I see you used it in the video on the truck rims but I just wanted to be safely assured. Thanks
Yes
Where can I buy the foaming spray nozzle? I can’t find it at Walmart or autozone :(
AyeeJayy92 I bought it at OReilly’s
Hope this helps
On the aerosol over trigger rant I agree but if you do it professionally why don't you use the like 1/2 gallon pump up sprayers they are great for anything you have a concentrate and of course you could pour anything in there but especially if you need a bottle anyway
Scott's videos set to 150% speed are more pleasing.
This will replace my precious Wesellleys Bleche White! EPA killed off my old favourite
I like these products that are on the higher ph levels for cleaning tires. They work extremely well and give a clean surface after rinsing for the tire conditioner, gel or whatever you want.
There are some people that say you are destroying tires by using a high ph cleaner and actually causing more blooming. Hmm I just buy that, most people don't keep tires for more than a couple years and you rinse the product off well. Plus I have a vehicle that is now ten years old with the original tires on it that has had spraynine used on them since new,and guess what, no cracking or decay.
Hmm, I had to apply it over five times on my tires that had never been cleaned before. The tires did not look nearly as dirty as your tire, but I kept pulling up more and more browning. Could I have done something wrong? I feel like I did the same process as you. Lol
Nope...You did nothing wrong..
If tires are extremely dirty or haven't been cleaned in a while, it could take several passes to clean the tire...
Sometimes a tire could be active and releasing antiozonates which causes tire Browning during the cleaning process and again it may take a few applications
@@dallaspaintcorrectionautod8343 Ah perfect! Thank you for the quick reply. I also just watched your older video about tire browning and I think my tires are doing it. At least they are completely clean now!
I bought the SuperClean Foaming. I think the only difference between that and the regular SuperClean (non-foaming) is the spray bottle. Am I right?
Also, some of the cons -- I noticed a whitish milky streaking on my chrome rock guard in the front of the trailer that wasn't there before... now what?
Also if you get SuperClean on your hands its very slippery and slimy and difficult to wash off. It makes it more difficult to grip the tools.
Thanks for the good review, overall, its a great product and I will buy again.
BRay549 where did you find the SuperClean Foaming? I can’t find it at Walmart or autozone?
Scott, technically speaking could SuperClean be used as a “presoak” on all exterior surfaces full strength on the paint etc or should I be concerned? As well as adding a few ounces in my strip wash mixture. Thanks my friend! Love the videos!
yes many do use a alkaline cleaner as a traffic film remover...im not sure i would use it straight but perhaps 4 to 1 but be careful not to allow it to dry to the paint and make sure you flush it completely off the vehicle and also do it in the shade and on a cool panel
@@dallaspaintcorrectionautod8343 Hey scott. What's the best way to reach you buddy.
Where did you get that tire brush
its called tuff and shine..you should find it on amazon or detailed image plus autogeek...hope that helps my friend:)
I think it's called a Tuf Shine brush, which you can get on Amazon for about $9.
Hey can you use this for engine bay
i would think it would work just fine for the engine bay:)
Yes
How much do you make per year detailing cars?
Hey Scott.. if SuperClean at 4:1 is a 9/10.. what would you rate Megs Super Degreaser at 4:1?? Being in Aus.. can't get SuperClean down here yet
yes super degreaser at 4:1..4 parts water 1 part product
side by side though... if SC is a 9 out of 10 what do you rate Megs at the same dilution?
in my world its about the same rating as for power but super clean is easier to work around because less harsh fumes
Listing to u, i can tell u r not from any where around Texas.
it also eats paint so u know.. ... can be used as a paint stripper ,Works perfect for plastic doesnt hurt the plastic , but eats paint Also will eat aluminum
Okay, we get it...you like Super Clean... sheeze!
thanks for watching..i have a lot more coming about super clean and how I'm using it..sorry your exhausted with it:(...but i have a lot of stuff that has nothing to do with super clean coming as well, perhaps that will be more to your liking but thanks so much for your support
I can tell you from first hand experience, you went way overboard with the brush and doing it twice and all that. I use the regular Super Clean, not foaming, spray it on the tires and wheels at the same time. I don't touch it with a brush cuz theres no need to. After 5 minutes I hose it off and Done! Its fast and easy and finished!
Hope it doesn't dry
My apologies, the Super Clean Degreaser is what I meant to say.
super clean is alkaline based and working around clear coated wheels for years,i haven't seen an issue but like all alkaline cleaners just rinse well and you shouldn't have a problem...thanks for your comment
Thanks, Scott. Please keep up the good work.
when you wash tyres first time that was very clean i don't know why you are wash again and again you are wasted water only in one tyre....if any one agree with me please comment on my suggestions...
Didn't u make a video already on this same product. Im convinced u just have an obsession with detailing lol
Nope, this is the only time on my channel I talked about this version of super clean
the aerosol sucks, the one I bought did not foam and stopped spraying. I threw over half an unusable can in the trash. I prefer the 1 gallon jug.
Hello Steven - We are sorry to hear that this happened. Please contact our Customer Service department at 651-365-7590 or customerservice@superclean.com so we can make it right.
I find that some aerosol sprays lose its propellant pressure after a while maybe from seepage?
You must be from long island
yes:)
Wow!!
That some rim an tire , 😂
It’s only paint or dried concrete on the tire , why is it so gross or filthy??? Come on Scott.
Now wipe your nose 👃
PLEASE.... STOP repeating yourself so many times.
Ok..
If you can stop yelling at me with all your caps:)
Do you walk around in your private yelling at everyone if you don't like how they talk??
