This was really emotional for me as I never see a keiichi's growing up lifestyle like this from start to finish as in child to adult. I felt so disgusted with his grandparents and stepdad who not only didn't want to be involved in his life but ALSO TRIED TO BLAME HIM BY ASKING FOR HIS CASE AND TRY TO AVOID RESPONSIBILITY AS THEIR WAY OF EXPRESSING THEIR OWN GRATITUDE! what kind of logic is that they're playing? Jesus, I was so glad his aunt was there for him and his childhood friend stood by his side through thick and thin. Truly a nice story we NEVER get to hear on this channel aside from the art style and the change of new voices. To be honest, I thought he was gonna grow up to be a professional soccer player but instead, becomes a lawyer. I also loved the backgrounds, the settings and the ending with that not so familiar raining like that scar video ending when he saved his female worker in a burning fire.

Keiichi is lucky to have his aunt Noa as his guardian rather than his pathetic excuse of a stepfather and grandparents, having the full support of his aunt and girlfriend Yui throughout his life from elementary school to college. Best part is the KARMA that his pathetic stepfather and grandparents schemed to put the blame on Keiichi if they lose the case but Keiichi was a step ahead of them, represented the victims and bankrupted his stepfather and grandparents, they don't deserve his help after what they put him through when his mom died... He don't owe his grandparents and stepfather anything at all..

This is story is something, and I really liked how the aunt took in MC, saving him from those living *****es...and the funny part, was that they said later "You'll pay for that!" and then later POOF, they died because they had to work overtime, in order to give back the money "they stole" (except for the son, unfortunately...and that's a SHAME).
Also, it was just disgusting how these *****ds really thought that the MC "owned them" something, after how they treated him during the funreal (and who knows where they wanted to send the MC...and luckily the aunt was THERE).
I wouldn't be surprised if in the afterstory, the MC (and the aunt) cut already the ties with them (I mean: they're dead except the *****le, but I believe in the newspaper something about him will pop out...).
Anyway, what I liked the most, was the auntie that behaved like a *Mother* (and she did so just fine)...and I wouldn't be surprised if in the future, she'll have a husband (one of hell of it, though).

Okay, that's just pathetic. That's YOUR grandchild and you refuse to help him because of your reputation? I'd be raising Cain about that. Of course I can sort of relate. My brother is technically a single parent raising a young daughter as the mother just dropped her off to him, basically abandoning her. He raised her simply because he couldn't trust a stranger to do it. It went all right, until my father's parents got wind of the situation. The didn't like him being a different breed of person from they were and thought that having a grandchild have a child out of wedlock would ruin their reputation as people. So one day they visited him while me, our mother, and my maternal grandparents were visiting to play with the baby. They told him that he should out his daughter up for adoption as they thought he wasn't ready or qualified to be a parent since the little girl, who is a toddler at this point, has no female role model. You could have heard a pin drop when they got done saying it. My grandfather said "Jeff, I done had enough of you trying to run rickshaw over my grandchildren's lives because they don't conform to what you think is..." Before he could finish that thought, my brother said "Mom, hold her. I'll deal with this," and handed our mom the baby and he got up from the floor. He walked over to our paternal grandfather, and got in his face, not hard since they are about the same height of 5'9", and stared him down. He said "I'm never going to put her up for adoption, no matter what you say or do. So you can just shut the Hell up, or I swear I'll put you in an early grave. Now leave, and never come back." He then shoved him towards the door. Realizing they had the loosing hand, they left. Not sure it was the best move, but our maternal grandfather said "Good thing you've still got some of that fire left-over from your wilder years, boy. You're going to need it now that you've shown you're willing to protect that little girl of yours from people like him. Too bad your mother hen ain't home, she'd have probably given him a piece of her mind as well and threw him for a loop. Honestly, I'd have paid good money to see that fireworks show." The kid was just laughing at the whole thing, like it was a show. And our mom said "You approve of daddy's actions, huh? She's definitely your daughter" and we all laughed.

I don't think any government entity is going to bat an eye on who raise Keiichi as long as someone is taking care of him no matter the profession they don't care. Noa maybe a hostess, but she did her very best to raise her nephew. Also Keiichi's Grandparent and step-dad really need to learn that lawyers have legal obligation to turn down cases when the trial hasn't date haven't come yet. Oh and trying to pin the blame on the lawyer that represent you is going to make sure no other law firms is going to accept your request as lawyers well let other lawyers know how bad of a client you are.

so when keiichi was 6, his grand parents were what, like 60y/o? and his aunt must've been some where between 25-30... and he wnt to all those schools, gratuated from collage at aroun 23-25, meaning that after 10 years hed be 33-35. from that we take off 6y, and add that to the relatives age, the aunt would be 52-57 and grand parent sould be 87-89... so how the hell is every single character looking the same as the moment the grandparents and the deadbeat step-dad abandoned keiichi?

I’m sorry AoHaru I can’t follow this at all. 1) Did the “step-dad” marry a pregnant woman? 2) Did she allegedly cheat and that’s why they divorced but kept him family name? 3) Noa’s the sister-in-law how because she’s never referred to as their child? 4) They all immediately refused any child support, but all claimed they had later in the story after having no contact yet the script flowed like they did. 5) Again how was there a biological explanation that covers the last part of the story? Do better.
