Illinois Terminal NS1072 and the Thunderbirds

- Finally caught #NS1072 The Illinois Terminal. and while I was there I got treated to a show by the U.S. Airforce Thunderbirds. A friend said there was going to be an air shoe over the weekend and they were practicing. The Illinois Terminal makes the 19th NS heritage unit that I have caught. One more to go and I will have caught them all. @@TriGogglin LOL You never know. Cumberland mine update. My local model shop does not stock US but the owner was offered a couple of brand new Bachmann SD40-2 by Bachmann Europe. One CSX the other NS. They are sound fitted and a lot less than a UK locomotive. Well I got tempted with the NS one around $200 and got it. Although Dave's line does not connect to NS that is the one it would connect to so I may use a little modellers license and have a visiting locomotive.
@@cedarcam for sure, its hard to model 100 percent. My take on the mine will be free lanced but try to represent it as well. But sounds like 200 wad a good deal..
