I been drag tuning for a long long long time in my forza career and watched a lot of videos with pple throwing around garbage tunes. Luckily you showed people a decent little introduction to drag need to build the community back up
Yea man I wanted to give ppl real advice that would actually help people and not gate keep and just give ppl the gist of tuning so they have confidence to tune
Wish they'd release a drag car dlc. With actual dragstrips and a tree for 1v1s. Coukd do alot of cool stuff w that and no ones really done it. That i know of.
now i don’t know about after tuning, but drift differential is fastest according to forza “tuning”
Well that could be true but I bet there’s a really small difference if any
@@CarThings No no it does help the car to lauch more aggresively, some cars will launch better with offroad diff but drift is the meta
It doesn't matter what diff you choose, the only difference between them is the preset tune.
Do you still keep it 100 and 0@@amslucifer9678
@@CarThingstest it, build a couple of the same make and model car, with&without drift diff, and with&without rally suspension, maybe the trans too race vs drift?
I wish we had power tuning options like boost controllers, fuel to air ratio, spark etc. Also Forza should give us 2 speed and 3 speed drag transmissions. Nitrous setups would be a nice addition if they found a way to balance it
Fr, & let us put custom tire profiles on any cars & parachutes for aesthetic, visual weight reduction would be cool too
For for real man then that would really separate the skill gap and obviously be more realistic
Nitrous is on Fh5 now in Eventlab certain maps
@810babydre6 imma have to look in to that thank you for letting me know
@@CarThings turn off rewind and (Y) will be your Nos, but you can change it to anything you want i can give you a map to try with it
this man just helped me create a ford focus sleeper.
Dude,
THANK YOU.
I’m glad that I could help!
Helped a lot bro getting into drag racing
Super help for video man i was just wanting to know how to make drag tunes ty!🔥
Your welcome bro this is exactly why I did it🫡
Good vid bro👍🏻, imma try this out when I get off work.
Thank you bro I hope this helps you🫡
I know it's been 8 months but this video really helped me, a lot. So thanks, Would you help with the hoonigan belair, got better with this base setup but can't avoid loosing grip even with 4wd
@@Luedsi89 I’m glad it helped you bro! And yes I can help you the best way for me to do that is if you join my discord and let me know it’s you so I can help you
Thank you. Helped me massively.
You're welcome!
Excellent video! I've learned a lot on my own but this definitely fills in some gaps. Very well done!
Thank you!
Gonna try your AWD setup on my 86 F150. I got the gearing good but it constantly blows the front tires off launching.
Im curious to try your transmission ratios vs a stock tr6060/t56 style ratio. as an example, I believe 6060 ratios in a gt500 is 2.98 1.78 1.3 1:1 .8 and .60. Low final drive to accommodate for higher HP
Hmm that’s actually a interesting test ngl I never tried using a actual transmission ratio let me know now that works out!
Notification Squad!🔥🔥🔥
💪💪
Thank you bro you the goat
❤
does the advanced launch control only work on controller? i use sim racing stuff and am just curious
can you show the other customizing categories too? Rally or race suspension? wide front tires or narrow? etc etc
Oh dang I really didn’t realize I skipped over that what the heck I ways do rally suspension and stock size front tires (if it’s a rwd car and max front tire size if it’s a awd car) and max rear tire size
You never need big front tires always smallest because the tunes are more rear bias(for awd cars) rwd cars you don't need bigger tired in the front because the rear tires are the one rotating.
You rarely need race springs it's for a few cars rally springs is best for majority of cars it has more weight transfer
Can you do a tuning guide for roll racing.
Imma get that in the works!
Do you know how to second gear wheelie I need tips
I don’t do 2nd wheelies so that’s kinda out my expertise
Tune your 2nd gear close to 1st gear but not all cars can do 2nd gear wheelie it depends
Okay but what about suspension? And diff? I do rally suspension and drift diff
How do I see the weight when looking at the options
4 speed is useless other than weight reduction because it drops top speed, you can even pick 10 speed and just make it 4 speed
if you are tuning 1/4m u are supposed to use 4 gears in most cars
Does anyone have any recommendations with bogging with light awds??
When creating a drag tune you don’t base your tunes off the 0-60 time?
never, the in game tune stats are inaccurate to the actual game, instead try to put your first gear as short as it can be without spinning, if it starts to spin try retuning your suspension.
We're can I get the car
do you think you can drop this tune?
Yes I can I’ll let you know when it’s posted!
Bruh what happend to all of your videos man
obvually
This guy does not know how to tune
You suck at tuning if your 1000hp car isn’t hitting 200mph at the trap, focus more on using the full potential of the engine and the full range of the gear, almost every gear needs to be more aggressive if you only hit 185mph, and not impressively fast either…
most cars in the game cant hit 200mph at 1000hp, that trap will also vary depending on the engine
Trash
Yeah drift diff and standard steering are the metas, manual 2k launch for awd cars, manual and clutch for rwd/fwd cars
Adding spacers on your car makes it worse(for drag racing)
Another thing is if your car can do wheelies it's best that way for the 60ft
Always use 55psi on the front tires too the ideal tunes are usually rear bias
Oh and some cars will need a lower acceleration in the differention settings (80 and under)
Look up the telemetry your tires should be heat up more than 215F usually that's the sweet spot
The final gear should be almost topping out (like if your cars traps for example 220mph your final gear should be at 222-225)
Also finally some cars will trap higher with forza aero front splitter or wing
