To be honest, I had no idea who Sofyan Amrabat was, as he was a very good midfielder with Fiorentina, but then became well known after his World Cup performances for Morocco where they got to the semifinals and finished 4th in the tournament. He was one of the best players in the tournament, he gave it his all for his national team and he was just impressive and after that helped Florentina get to both the Conference League and Italian Cup final. His defensive work, ability to run off the ball makes him stand out and he's not bad at distributing the ball and he's like that old school defensive midfielder who's elite in winning the ball back making crunching tackles and there's a reason why clubs like Liverpool and Barcelona were interested in signing him, but he only wanted Manchester United and I hope he does well there and addresses their midfield woes.
Great analysis my friend. I still don't understand ETH going for Mount. We could have got both Maddison & Ward-Prowse for the similar transfer fee we payed for Mount (also Mount salary would cover salaries for both of these players) so instead of 1 player we would have 2 PL proven players in the much needed positions (CAM and CM)

Manchester United have a variety of issues and most of it has been in the midfield, Mason Mount, I don't see the tactical fit at all, Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro are undroppable, and while neither of them have looked at their best this season, they need to be complemented by a midfielder who could do the defensive work and can be creative, Casemiro is one of the best defensive midfielders our of generation and has been so consistent at the highest level for almost a decade, he isn't getting any younger and we cannot expect him to get around the pitch as effectively as he did in his prime, and do all that work by himself, Bruno Fernandes is an excellent creator, dishes out brilliant passes and his goalscoring touch isn't bad for someone who's a midfielder, he's not gonna defend much and that has led to big holes in this Manchester United midfield and they had to sign Sofyan Amrabat even if it's a loan, he should be able to do a decent job for them given the difficult circumstances of the club both on and off the field and last season he was impressive for both club and country so let's see if he fixes Manchester United's midfield woes.
