Yeah, "endless possibilities!" Absolutely! I've had the S8 for 3 years now, and while I know how to use the remix decks, there are still things about the S8 that I'm just "discovering" that are very useful! For me the screens are extremely useful! I would not have gotten into the remix decks (F1) if there had not been any screens! Thanks for a great tutorial! It has been very helpful!!!

Great vid as always Liam! I had to watch the end a dozen times as I couldn't get my sample decks to record more than 4 beats. In your vid you set your capture loop time to 16, but your sample ended up being only 4 beats as well, so I figured the loop time needs to be set in the SOURCE DECK, in this case DECK B, and not the remix deck, then it worked like a charm. I also found that you can overwrite existing remix pads with new audio on the fly (from DECK B in this case again) by holding capture and a pressing a remix pad.
i think if you have a selected say 16 beat loop and tell it to capture 4 it will. but if the loop is only 3 you cant capture 32 if you get me

Yes, I have done it live, but prefer to have samples preset as a remix set. It is easy to grab samples live to add to a remix set
With the right controller it feels really natural. I have 2 F1s and it’s amaze balls.
To browse the samples press Remix and turn Loop recorder.
Didn't get it completely. You can break down all Tracks or only Remix Tracks wich support Stems ? thx.
I can't seem to find a single video or site or in the manual how to delete a sample from a remix cell slot. Either in the Traktor Pro 3 software, or on the s8 controller. Can anybody please help?
how do you get the samples in your remix deck . if I load samples in it it doesn't match ?

I like the capture, I haven't played with that function yet, I assume it is automatically saved to the remix set you have loaded?

Hi, you do not explain how to delete the loop on the S8?....What if you accidentally capture a wrong part of the track 🤷🏻♂️
Can you monitor each remix deck cell through headphones?
My deck A Bpm won't move on the S8 hardware but on Traktor pro software is there any way of changing that if u know
For the separation of the track elements did you create a Stem track?
no - he created a remix set. that means that he first added individual sounds and plays all the samples individually. no need for other software apart from traktor pro
you could also play stems with this. the difference is that with a stem file you can only control that tracks elements and they are glued together. so to speak each element is the entire length of the track and you can't loop individual elements only everything together

neither, it's a traktor format called remix deck, you can buy a whole title in this format in beatport or make your own from different parts of songs
So it is possible to use simple samples for example or they have to be in a format which you have to buy from beatport as you are saying or NI ?

One Question: how can i delete a sample cell in the remix deck? (with the F1 it is shift capture)

Here is one question nobody wants to answer, an u change sample type with this controller from loop to one shot using only the s8, now here's why this product is a waste of money, U can do everything u can with the f1 that u can with this plus more maybe if traktor layout was better u would not feel the need to get remix decks on seperate displays, these people that are clearly biased giving reviews are meant to be pros I know point blank aren't giving reviews on this aint having a go at u guys other people tho are not stating out this piece of gear is a waste of time if only ni concentrated better on their software layout u wouldn't shouldn't need this
