My UK Spouse Visa Experience

We discuss how we came to decide on living in the UK rather than the US, and how we fared during the daunting visa application process. Chris and I spent over a year preparing for our UK spouse visa once we decided that applying for a US visa was not the route we wanted to take.
Because we had been dating long distance for a couple of years, we wanted to make the process as easy and straightforward as possible. This meant marrying in the US before applying for a UK visa.After our wedding in the US had taken place it was time to focus on our visa. Although we were very confident, we still experienced stress and doubt because it meant so much to us - being together in the UK rested on the outcome of this visa.
