Building a Shelf to display my Hand Planes

    In this video I'm building a very simple shelf to store/display my hand planes and get them out of my workbench drawer! The shelf is constructed of 3/4 plywood using rabbet and dado joinery. I cut all the joinery with a single 1/8th kerf blade on the table saw. The walnut trim on the front is scraps from my night stand build. Let me know what you think in the comments section below.

    Love seeing building with solid connections. I always overbuild with dado/rabbet joinery for things that are in my shop. I think it’s the best option fo machine joinery. Worth the time over just butt joints for my purposes.

      I’m with ya! Also it’s good practice on shop stuff that if you mess up a bit isn’t as big of a deal. I probably overbuild almost everything...lol. Thanks for watching!
