- This actually works pretty well and is responsive with a 20Hz refresh rate and has a lot of functions for the price. It also can record video with a long press of the capture switch.
it has a 240x180 thermal imaging sensor and a 2mp visible wavelength camera so it can perform hybrid visualizations using both cameras like overlays and picture in picture "PIP". it has a long lasting battery and can take SD card "TF" memory to save pictures.

That could be a fun and useful tool. I would love to try one on aircooled engines. My aircooled Kawasaki 750 turbo would be wild looking in that!

Very cool. I’m a firefighter and use a Bullard QXT pretty often. They are around $7,500, and as a result only one person on the rig gets to use it in a fire. Some people are starting to buy personal ones like these and at 1/20th the cost I can see why. Looks great.
Ill bet my 157,000 a year check from my department against yours that these cheap amazon bought ones wont last with in 10 feet of a burning building. Or take the beating of the cold and ice when at a fire while having ice freezing bunker gear shut. Lets not forget the liability issue if its a cause of a injury etc politicians and cities like to deny liability for non procured equipment….
@@ttss5726 We run 100,000 calls per year (non-transport so that’s not fluffed up with BS ambulance numbers). We get quite a few fires. The guys that bought their own seem to like them.
I'm not real sure you mention that you can wire to a larger monitor such as a tablet, rather that the small screen. These can be used in a lot od projects, if you can remember to actually get it out. I ordered the new topdon and paid a little more, upgrading from 1 I purchased 10-15 years ago with half the features and performance, but cost twice as much. Thank you for all your time and effort on this.
This identical gun seems to come in many different brands (some with cheaper price) Infiray, , TopDon, Mileseey, etc. and they all have higher resolution that the Vevor.
He forgot to mention video does not have overlay once downloaded to the computer only pictures have it
