Own house maintenance is headache after 30+ yrs... if u can afford its fine else hectic, ofcourse the property will be sold after ur life time by ur children,
Living in apartments is far better in terms of facilities, security, and infra maintenance equally shared...
@@ItsMyLifeAsh opinion differs, i prefer individual plot whatever v pay as maintenance cost in apartment we can pay and get our work done.... Even if my kids sell they get better returns in this than apartment... And until i stay i need not have to think too much about next door thts so close, i can stay and enjoy as i wish in my plot no one can question me like in apartment where association has issue for everything.....In all ways i feel this is better

Apartment is preferable for safety. Trouble free while u r out of station. All that is done even if you r not there. Don't want to rely on relatives always.
100% true, in the current trend people still think having own individual house is profitable, but after 30 yrs its maintenance cost will be a big issue

@@ItsMyLifeAsh What will you get when you sell your appartment after 30 years old. If it's a land and building building value would be 0 value and land value penetrates. Every building value is depreciated 1.5% every year. If you sold your 30 year old flat. Only uds value is considered as a land value and building value is 0. Flat is always an depreciation asset.

U people are talking about chennai only. U can construct 1 full apartment in 1+ crore @ur native place. Use that rent to pay ur house rent in city. Always go real-estate investments at ur native place. It is safe and wise option to grow wealth.
Sorry you are wrong, rent in native can't match rental revenue in the city. Also with one crore budget you won't be able to construct 3 or 4 storey apartment even in native. In case if a person taking loan rental income can't match the emis as well.
