How low is it being criticized for donating her own money to charities to help people? Dolly Parton gets praised for being generous. Ryan Reynolds gets praised for being generous. Taylor Swift gets criticized for being generous. Huh?
Taylor is absolutely in the same category as Michael Jackson! Pop icons and legendary performers.

I'm a massive Michael Jackson fan, but I also love Taylor. I agree, they are both pop icons, in different ways though for sure. Though we also have to remember that MJ did it pre-social media, which is a massive feat that can never be outdone. Regardless of that, they are both phenomenal in their own ways. I've had the same thought about Taylor's fans being like MJ's. I remember MJ's Super Bowl performance specifically, when he stood in silence to cheers for a full minute. Taylor could do the exact same thing, without a doubt; I think the cheers would only get louder.
She does it every night at the eras tour after she performs Champagne Problems on the piano. The cheers go on for minutes.
